What a fun video, I enjoyed seeing the man at work. The view of the mechanics behind the sound was eye opening. There is a lot of versatility required to fill in when there is no rehearsal time as well as being separated from the audience. I really am thankful for this insight into the world of drumming. Previously my only real life experience is when I was 4 years old and one of the legs gave out on the base drum for my older brother's band during practice. I wound up replacing the broken leg by sitting partially in front of the base drum for the last part of the practice. My older sister walked in at the end and yelled at my brother for trying to make me deaf. My brother looked at her like, Well Duh and said, "I put my earplugs I use when Dad and I go hunting in her ears." My sister grabbed me and took me upstairs mumbling about useless brothers, and thus ended my actual experience of being part of a drum kit. It was brief, but exciting.
