First Lap Video: • My First Lap on the Nü...
Off Track moment: I went off track because I was too focused on the car behind me. Right before the corner I looked into my mirrors and saw him right behind me. When I looked back at the circuit I knew pretty much instantly that I wasn't going to make the whole corner. As you can see I set myself up to go straight over the curb, and that's pretty much it.. I did not have a 'sh*t that was close' moment, so right after that I went back to riding as I was doing!
Thanks for watching and for the insane support on my first Nürburgring video!!

@@MTRides Thank you for uploading the video, I have always wondered how it is to go to nurburgring on a motorbike
@@user-zp3xc4to1t yeah, a lot of blind corners
God bless people like u :)
This curve is called "ice curve" and if you are too fast and too far on the inside, you get into problems. I know some motorcyclists who were there in the meadow. But if you add 100 hp power, the world looks quite different. 😂
1:18 got a little heart attack 😂

Right? I've found myself doing the same several times as well hahahaha

I guess that makes sense to some extent, I'm not hating but it's kinda like you saying if you're good at playing guitar hero you're a good guitar player.
well playing ride 3 alot i know this course like the back of my hand

Man I'm in awe of your riding ability. The confidence in the corners is great.
Well done! You stayed upright! Awesome to watch. Thank you. 👍😎
Wow. These are so much fun to watch! You pick great lines. Not that I’ll ever be able to run that track, still a good lesson.
👍🏻👍🏻 thoroughly enjoyed
Thanks for that comment! Really nice to hear you enjoyed watching :)
Unfortunately you were off line very often. Especially with a a2 bike you should keep more attention on your line and speed during entering a corner.
What's special about nurburg is that every lap isn't the same as another one, there's always something new to learn, and you did a really god job on improving from the last one.
Plus starting on a A2 (slower) is actually an advantage for the overall run👍👍
Bruh everybody sayin MT 07 is slow, Im offended on my Gs500e lol
great job again..... and a good save too. Expecting a third lap. Awesome video, great quality. Thanks for sharing.
Haha yeah third lap with an MT09sp coming in about 2 months! ✌️
That looks like so much fun! Thanks for sharing!
Smooth ride bro! Off track for the adrenaline! All in all nice lap! I was looking at the trident. You got my attention on the yamaha. Nice run!
Seems like a solid bike. Nice lap aswell, don’t worry about that little offtracker.
Just read where you said your learning. That was some pretty good cornering for sitting upright on the bike. Try adding in some hanging off now, and you'll go faster through the turns with out scraping. (as much) lol
Your doing good though, keep it up.
P.S.- you should really get some gauntlet gloves, race suit and boots for going those speeds.
Keep on Ripp'n !
Thanks bro! Yeah next track event I'm definitely wearing full race protection, this was not OK!
@@MTRides looking good on that thing, it was my first bike and I still own it after buying my r6 your looking confident in the turns!
@@MTRides improving your body position on the bike is not just for being 'faster' but increasing your safety margin. be safe plz.

Nice ride man! You did a very good job NOT dying after that corner.... Congrats.

Thanks for the continued support dude!!
at first I really did not like these mirrors (they make the handle bar look longer than they are). But they're cool 👌🏻🔥great vid

Thanks man! Cheers from Belgium!! 😎😎
Thanks for the second part mate!!
My pleasure dude!! 😎
the camera angle is perfect. i loved it
You can literally see the back end sliding out on some of them corners, great riding skills right there being able to trust the slide and use it to your advantage to get through the corners
Great vid man! Scared the crap out of me at the start, thought you were going to hit the guy. Also, the scraping, I had the same thing so I unscrewed the stoppers.
Lol, the BMW could not really get away from a A2-bike.
Cars suck
Not shit😂 old normal BMW vs 700cc motorcycle like wtf
@@_mephistophele4968 XD
You got to know, that a A2-Bike is powerreduced to 35KW/48PS because of the driver licence/beginner.
A licence (open): no limit in power
A2 licence: powerreduced to 35KW (maximal KW before 70KW)
Michael Mueller yes I know
You can hear the footpeg touching the asphalt. What a legend
I hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but it's actually due to bad body position, not MotoGP levels of cornering speed. His torso isn't moving into the corner like it should and therefore he's leaning the bike instead of his body, which reduces the amount of cornering potential and is why he's scraping pegs at speeds probably only 1/2-2/3 of what he could do with proper body position. This is why the whole "chicken strips" meme is bad because in most cases it's just a matter of bad body position and it actually stunts development of track skills and places artificially low cornering limits.
OP, if you read this, consider getting an instructor on a track day or at least check out channels like Yamaha Champions School or Mike on Bikes and do some studying on body position and have a friend ride behind you and film so you can compare your position to the ideal.
@@nunyabusiness896 I'm new to motorbikes, so thank you for the channels to watch!

Me: "I wish we could do that in the US"
Thinking twice: Nah our drivers are dumb as hell over here
The people who go to the track might be better though.
Go to asia lol..
Can confirm, drivers down here in Florida drive lifted trucks, go to the far left lane immediately upon entering the highway and tailgate everyone in their way
If only they started using the right lane as the 'slow lane' (trucks,.) and the left as 'overtaking/fast lane'... Less frustration guaranteed
@@MTRides yeah, where I live people use the left lane as the slow.lane and the right lane as the fast lane for some reason even though it's the opposite way around
Grinding down those hero blobs 😁
I thought I went hard on my mt07 on corners but I'm genuinely impressed, nice riding bro 👌
I salute you sir. Not only keeping up but outpacing others, with a 35kW bike. More courage and speed than me when I had a 135hp sportsbike (maybe becoming a dad of two does that, but still). Able to correct an overshoot without falling down. This was some glorious riding.
Thanks!! Really appreciate that you took the time to write this :) I don't know what it was that day, but I had a lot of confidence in myself/bike/tires,.. it all worked out well 😁 I do understand you take it a little bit easier if you have kids, you're not the only one that feels like that 🏁
For your second ever lap, you smashed it. Im touring Europe next month and might hop on the ring for a lap or 2👌

It's more like he thinks he can drive. If he continues like this his luck will run out.
@@10vingers Yeah, his line through corners is mostly not very good, often sacrificing both speed and time for excessive lean angle.

nearly shat myself from just watching that xD
12:03 you have no idea how nervous you made me while riding on that crack on the ground because i once almost slipped and flipped because of one! really nice footage tho ride safe man✌🏼
You mean riding with one hand?
@@cinqieme2017 no there is a crck in the track which can cause height differences and cause the bike to slip
Fun video to watch!! As some other people said, take a course in shifting your weight (hanging off) and keeping the bike more upright, scraping pegs while sitting straight up is how you lowside.
Great lap apart from that corner you mentioned and hyper critical but the 2nd carousel seemed a little off too. Apart from that impressive ride👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
That’s a terrible feeling you get when you realize you have entered a turn too fast and you know you are screwed, way to hold it down man! My road experience is not much, off road I’m a bit more confident but I’m putting in time on the seat and trying stuff ( not like you ) I know my limits LOL
Those cables at the throttle side looks loose, I suppose it shouldn't move like that while we give throttle, I am not sure though.. It's a great video and the camera angle is superb. Thanks a lot 😍😍👌👌

The MT07 does just fine on the track.Great ride.Awesome around the corners.I think the feelers on your pegs are definitely scraping.I had a Yamaha FZ6 and it did the same thing as your bike.Scraping the feelers on the bottom of the pegs.Had to remove them on both sides of the bike. You did really well! For your first time on a track.\m/\m/

1:13 achei que fosse bater kkkk
Awesome.... Now thats called a ride.... 👍👍🏍️🏍️
I'm currently taking driving lessons on a mt-07 but it's the 54 kw version. Bike feels amazing
dude, go to a track day with instructor, learn body position. it will be so much more fun and also safer
Your body position is really bad dude, you need to get your body much more out of the bike to reduce lean angle, if you keep touching the pegs you will loose the front tire on day to another.
I really can't believe it's THAT bad dude.. If I'm able to go around so quickly and catch wayyyy more powerful bikes...
I'm going on a trackday soon with a teacher and I hope that after a couple of track days I'll look back on this video and realise you were indeed correct. If not then it is just this camera angle that doesn't show my movement properly
@@MTRides Maybe is the camera yes, but you shouldn't be touching pegs, trust me my man it's really dangerous. be safe, and awesome content
@@Dinafay2 this was a nice little discussion
I agree. With a good position, your peg will never touch ground. You are probably at the limit of the bike. If you try to go quicker it could slip. Try to move you upper body first, it will give you less lean angle at same speed, so safer riding. Look at Motojitsu on youtube, it will help you for your position.
@@MTRides Seems like you are moving your hands barely, not even trying to move more in the front and kinda out the bike... your hands shouldn't be straight like this. Causing too much stress on the suspension.
Awesome video dude. Would love you go round that track one day
