Excellent start! Really well done. I would have liked a shotkam section to show clearly the method being used i.e. maintained, pull away, swing through. It can be hard to see the method being used when relying on the view from behind the shooter, especially when you're trying to find the clay and watch the shooter. When the instructor was shooting the driven target, the two methods he showed looked exactly the same to me. I hope there will be more about cartridges, I found it really interesting listening to the talk about Power Reds. I hope he will talk about cartridges for over forty yards as even club shooters come across fifty and sixty yard targets occasionally!

Hi Dave! Thanks we're so glad you enjoyed it and thanks for your comment... We are definitely going to look into some different ways of filming the shooting, and we hear you about the cartridges!! We've got something quite tasty for the next episode 👌👍

Good shout and yes my feelings too. A lot of people criticise the shotcam, but it’s a great shooting aid and let’s you see where your shot is in conjunction with the target…👍

I totally agree with the above comment, Drennan is a down the earth kinda bloke who tells it like it is. One can relate to everything he says with his no nonsense delivery.
He is about the best at evaluating and comparing shotguns in my opinion.
      Top Bloke.

As a professional pest controller with squirrels as the main target, results are paramount, I don't do sporting, I just need to ensure a clean death, "good on the wallet" is very important and I use the fibre reds in 27g 7.5 shot and they do the job. Little red devils is a good name 🙂

Drennan replies: A question that’s not as simple to answer as many think! Competition cartridges have so many characteristics and what suits some, doesn’t suit others . If you're sticking with Express and looking for something that will cope for longer and harder targets, look at the Super Comp 28g and the Supreme range. I use 6.5s and 7s for all longer/harder targets in a 28g load. I usually prefer plastic wads over fibre, unless the cartridge is from the Green Core range, in which case I'm happy to use the fibre as well as they're so good with the improved gas seal.
