    Great explanations of the different shotgun disciplines. We frequently have people coming to our club wanting to shoot “skeet” and have no idea what skeet actually is…

    I came by your shop a few months back looking for a Revenant. I was blown away by your grounds and hope to come back and have time to shoot. Great video showing the highlights of the different guns and disciplines.
    Also hope to see more of you and Steve with TFL!

    I could not help but notice where Travis holds his index finger on his left hand beside the forearm (see 1:35 in the video). I was taught this at a very young age, the old timer told me he used this method as a "Pointing" tool. This has worked well for me for over 60 years of shotgun shooting.

      Pointing is natural and a great way to approach targets!!

    Great video. Perfect for me to share with new shooters interested in shotgun sports. Travis - please convince Fabarm USA to import the STL COMPETITION C6.

    5 stand is the best because I would go on my own a lot of times and didn't want to bother anyone to pull for me.

    Great video. You got handicap wrong though, you start at 18 (I think) and then earn your way further back by winning events, placing, or straight shooting until you’re at “the fence” aka 27yds

      Thanks for the info. You are probably right, but for the purpose of this video I provided a general brief description of the various games. Ive shot a ton of trap and won championships along the way, but never participated in an ATA Handicap event. Spend all of my time now days shooting sporting and doing shows. Thanks for watching the video. I appreciate your input!

      @@massey3129 I'm about 1.5 feet from the screen. My problem is not correctable by my already thick glasses. Thank God for your eyesight while you still have it.

    How does that handicapping work in trap? Doesn't everyone have to be on the same line for safety?

    • @travismears
      @travismears  2 месяца назад +1

      Squads are put together accordingly to make sure everyone is within the same distance on the line for safety.
