On two of my featherweights . There is shrink tubing on it. Does this mean it was previously repaired or is it possible it came from the manufacture that way?
Is it safe to heat shrink the tubing with an open flame lighter near where you've cleaned with kerosene? (flash or fire danger?) If I don't have a heat gun, could a hair dryer work?
