Excellent work. I actually have that on my list of projects to build. I don't have 1/2" sheet steel or 1" solid stock and I do not have a need for such a heavy duty vice. My intention is to use 1" RHS for the frame and 2" angle iron for the jaws mostly because I have that on hand. I will upload once completed.

Great to see the quality work you can produce with basic tools that every one has. I hate it when I see "DIY ..." but you need 10000 work of equipment to do it. My hat is off to you sir.

Excellent work and got precision, high level skill & workmanship. Welding machine not used in this project is notable. I also have the opinion that you should share the measurements and material details. But nobody can get the professionalism you have and do the work with perfection as you did.

This actually turned out really nice. You are getting better at this. You have good layout skills on top of steady hands. BTW, I copied the little hydraulic press that you built a while back with a couple of differences and it works very well. Thought you would like to know.
