I decided to make a separate video because this vice can also be used in a band saw or as a workshop vise :)

I’m impressed with how straight you can cut with an angle grinder.
Only expensive thing was the MIG, and they can be had used for reasonable money in most places. I bought mine 20 odd years ago brand new with a loan, and it's probably the single best purchase I ever made as it's made so many things since then possible that would not be without it. Good on you for honouring your fans' requests :-)
cheap 150A DC capable SMAW inverter would do the trick too for this kind of welds and thickness. There aren't that many welds and they aren't long either, wouldn't consume too many rods. Get yourself a box of E7018 1/8" (dunno how it's labeled in EU) rods and you're set
7:12 nice skills. That's not easy to do without a
solid stand.

as i am mechanical engineer , mfg spl purpose machines .so i know the difficulty in these kinds of projects,

There is something nice about seeing minimal tools used, but cmon I think we can all agree that the plasma cutter is wayyy more satisfying to watch

Получается Польские тиски да???? Молодец Лешек , Марек или как там звать этого Данилу-мастера!!! Первый раз вижу тиски на подшипниках!!! Молодец!!!! Четко сделал. Все точно, продумано и нет ничего лишнего!!! Шляхтичам - зачёт!!!! Вот только крутилку можно было от старой ручной швейной машинки ZINGER - ЗАЕБЕНИТЬ!!! Он еще весь никилированный, да и шкив там сбоку есть для ременной передачи!!! Помню, Советскими пользовались, по пол центра весом. На все случаи жизни!!! За то любые и любому чугунные Яйца можно было отдавить без проблем!!!!

There was a day I used to depend on hand grinders. Now I machine everything cnc because it’s easier on the hands and shoulders. I do appreciate the skills just take care of you. 15 years or more of that leads to rotator cuff and Carpel tunnel injuries.

So refreshing seeing someone use a proper scraper to mark out their lines and not destroy a pair of calipers under the excuse that they are "cheap".

Yes, that handwheel gave the vice its ease of use through rotational inertia - very clever indeed.
That craftsmanship is impressive. From a practical point of view it is a waste of time and money. It is much cheaper to buy one.

Mam taką uwagę. Jak już chcesz udostępniać swoje plany ludziom za opłatą to wypadałoby zrobić jakąś listę potrzebnych gotowych elementów. Z tych planów większość rzeczy to jest do domysłów. Numery łożysk, rodzaje prętów, nakrętek to wszystko według mnie powinno być podane w jakimś opisie.

You should build yourself a fume extractor with a downdraft grinding/welding table. Your lungs will appreciate it
razvanon i just wear an n95 when i grind. does the same thing

It does almost the same thing but only when the mask is on. The problem is that the dust and the fine shavings are floating arround long after your done grinding and remove your mask
Not to mention that a few n95 masks costs as much as a fume extractor nowadays
razvanon also, you are right about the shavings in the air, but i do most of my grinding outdoors so it generally goes away fast

Nice, ...I mean really nice bit of work to make an everlasting tool like a vise. They are like C clamps, you can't have too many in your shop ( within reason! )

Is that water you are spraying on your drill bit to keep it cool?
Be very careful with gloves around belt grinders, I recommend using a pair of vice grips to hold your piece, as if that glove gets caught in between the table and the belt, it could be over for you fingers, great build aswell!!

Świetna robota jak zawsze, miło się to ogląda. Tak aby się przyczepić, czy aby imadło nie powinno się zamykać ruchem zgodnym że wskazówkami zegara? Jak testujesz to też w pierwszej kolejności kręcisz w prawo. Tyle że aby to obrócić to trzeba by kilka spawów przeciąć.
What are you spraying on the metal when you are drilling? It doesn't look like oil to me.

Why is it a lefthand thread? Feels weird to my turning the handle counter clockwise to tighten the vise.

Nawet robota przy imadle a super się Ciebie ogląda Panie. Zdolnosci manualne na wysokim poziomie szacun. Myślałeś może nad zrobieniem łuparki hydraulicznej z funkcją cięcia pni na kawałki i podajnikiem od taka luźna podpowiedź.
Strasznie dużo roboty. Wiem, bo kuzyn taka buduje do użytku codziennego w swojej firmie. I raczej nigdy takie cudo u mnie nie powstanie :)
