very interesting video - I found myself asking the same question over and over IE do the people in the fancy homes ever utilize those balconies, or covered porches ? Likely not. We have a similar area just a few thousand feet north, homes start at $750K and when you drive thru the neighborhood you'll never ever see anyone outside. Guarantee they are sitting, looking at a computer screen, or TV, no different than someone who lives in a trailer park.
Cool video! would you say Tempe is a good place for a recent college grad (guy) to start living on their own? or any recommended Phoenix areas in general?
Hey azaDreamz! Is Tempe Phoenix a good city for someone with a painting business , in the beginning alot of my customers come from door to door sales but respectfully and professionally , would Phoenix is general be ok ?
Like the neighborhoods in 4:00 into the video are perfect ! Please tell me there's a everlasting supply of those kind of houses and neighborhoods through the Phoenix valley Like.a 3,000 sq ft minimum, uppermiddle clssish
I've lived in/around the phx-metro area most of my life, and while I try to avoid most of phoenix (because I still don't entirely know which parts of it should be avoided) the apts in Tempe and some parts of mesa are alright- right now we're paying ~$900/month for a 2 bed/1 bath....although I will say this: Try to avoid any property owned/managed by greystar, they don't do a very well (speaking from experience and what I've heard from others when it comes up in conversation)

You are most likely right. You really don’t see people outside enjoying those nice balconies /porches that much.

Yes, I would say Tempe is good area for a recent grad. You will find a lot of grad students in Tempe as well. Scottsdale would be good too.
Thank you

What is your opinion on apartments in the Phoenix area or surrounding towns?
