I originally had the oversized hardcovers and broke down and decided to buy the Omni‘s just for brother Lono to be attached!!! We got suckered!!!

This is incredibly disappointing that Brother Lono isn't included. I guess there is no hope of them giving us a an OHC of that to make this complete?
I agree. It looks like they were going to do it and then just decided never mind. A very DC move if you ask me.
Oh don't worry you will get that OHC. Why would DC not double dip by not making that available? I am pretty sure that's why they did it the way they did.

Brother Lono was released years ago in tpb. Get that, I guess? There are many times when books don’t include everything and you have to get off-shoots in other formats.
I had no plans to 'upgrade' from the deluxe hardcovers, but I have to say, it's ridiculous that Brother Lono isn't included. Vol.1 seemed to be over-stuffed to make room for Brother Lono in Vol.2.....and yet? I see a future reprint correcting this oversight.
Ahhh ohh they bout do a 100 Bullets Vol 2: Expanded Edition like SuperSons haha. Sucks that the Brother Lono mini was not included in this. DC you had ONE JOB ha.
What does Brother Lono add? I hadn't ever heard about it.
I bought the first omni so I want this one, sad it doesn't have everything, specially when it was advertised as having it.

Hell ya i'm so excited for this! I just reread vol 1. I've never read anything after that so i hope this volume is just as good
100 bullets is the best thing crime thriller noir whatever ever written , if you have doubts just read the whole thing once and then twice and then yet again . cuz azzarello always leaves out thing dialogues are open to the reader interpretation , stuff not mentioned in caption boxes are understood over time by the reader. AND the risso artwork ,this guy captured america so well when he never even left argentina for the 1st 50 issues . but in my opinion the 5 book deluxe work better to really enjoy the story , to enjoy the diff parts and arcs to the maximum instead of 2 gigantic sin city like books.
And i hope they give a reprint of just brother lono oversized as well.

That's some BS false advertising from DC! 200 less pages and still asking the same price... It doesn't matter that you don't need the Brother Lono story, which is subjective I guess. False advertising is false advertising.
I agree, definitely false advertising. DC needs to pull their head out of their ass. They just aren’t interested in giving the fans what they want. And you know they planned for it to have the extra mini-series. The first omnibus has 54 issues and this one has 46. Exactly 8 less. It’s called pulling a DC.
I always pronounce it in my head like "Lon-o." But to each their own. That does suck though. Especially since they solicited it with those issues initially.

My copy was shipped last week so i should received it this week. Looking forward to finishing the story and I hope in the near future they can make a tv series.
Honestly, DC should recall these and add that miniseries in since that was solicited to all of us, or give us back some money. Absolutely unacceptable!
Agh. I still haven't read the first Omni. It's been intimidating me from the shelf for months. That book is huuuge. I admit. It scares me.
But knowing the second Omni is on the way soon, looks like I need to man-up...
Omar, you should do an overview or review of all the Scalped deluxe hardcovers. I keep hoping for an omnibus but I've noticed DC seems kind of scared of this series now because some pussy-ass people try to say it's offensive or racist or something. It isn't.
The background plot and a lot of the elements are based on a true case that happend in the 1970s. And life on reservations is really like this, which is why Jason Aaron is trying to shine a light on it but also tell a very entertaining crime saga.

Damn, does volume 1 have bad binding? I use strips of stacked backboards (approx. 3 mm high) under the pages of every omnibus in my collection to prevent the pages are going to hang like that

I think it's just Omar's copy. Mine seems to have a better binding and fresh as the day I got it. No Warping.
. It's also about reading surfaces with Omnis, too
This is exactly what I do! I cut and glue together four or five strips. I've never seen a video or anything suggesting it, but it has kept the page block in all of my omnis from sagging.
I've never read Brother Lono, as I was waiting for an OHC to match the other editions... I sold them when I saw Omnibus 2 solicited (I only bought vol 1 when I knew vol 2 was definitely coming and saw it would include Lono). To find out it's not in there? Massively poor from DC.
I'm disappointed they left out the mini but will still get the omni as I only have the trades. Hopefully, we get a deluxe edition of the Brother Lono mini. Btw, what happened to your volume 1? Looks like there was separation.

I've thought about upgrading my trades to these but I honestly love the crappy paper that the tpbs are printed on. The gloss doesn't suit the book.
I'm like that with my Transmet trades. That future feels dirty, the paper is appropriate.
So dodgy advertising 8 other issues and not including them. I'd be so angry that I paid for something and didn't get it.
DC done messed up
Ending was good but a lot of stuff was not needed. Loopholes and other things. It fell off. Beginning was a lot better. Got mine in 5 volumes
I think Omar's harping on the omission a little too much. It sucks, but it ain't the first time Marvel or DC could've added a complimentary piece . I remember the McFarlane Spiderman over promised too
Care to elaborate about the Mcfarlane Spidey? All I remember was the DM Cover that they sent out later. What happens most of the time that I've seen is we actually get more issues in collections after solicits. The last time something like this happened, was the Harley volume 3 and they pulled the non Palmiotti and Connor issues, but that was a week or so before FOC.
When i had preordered it (mind you , AmZ) it mentioned having runs of AMS 315 and a bit.
I guess i remembered it, because one of my fave Venom dialogues was in that run of issues.
In the case of 100 Bullets, it sucks too (as mentioned). I wonder the rationale, myself, but don't really mind as much since most publishers could achieve more with many releases.
#315 is in the AMS by Michelinie and McFarlane omni, so not sure why it would need to be in the Spider-Man by McFarlane omni too.
@@nickbaker1541 again, this was about a solicit that claimed Stories, that would be included, then ultimately weren't. There have been cases of overlap before. Ie SW Vader Down being in 2 different omnis.
