Everyone is loving montre’s skating which is of course justified. But can we talk about how good Rachard has become as a video editor and content creator !? This video is sooo good
Rollerblading / inline skating has been a part of my life since I was 8-years old...I'm, now, 41. The countless videos I've viewed; the music I've heard; the skaters I've admired... This is literally the FIRST time, in over 30-years, that I've experienced a rollerblading video that was (not only) pleasant to watch...but, also, relaxing...blissful even...to listen to. The combined effect is this 3m:28s video that is tranquil yet energizing; soothing yet uplifting; and peaceful yet motivational. Brilliant effort by both lads 👌
This kind of skating was my life for many years. Well, many years later I see this video and it inspires me to get back in some skates. Thanks for the great vid!
As impressive as the park sequence was, it was the street scenes that really got to me... reminded me of when I first picked up rollerblading around age 14, back in 00-01... I couldn't drive, didn't know any other bladers and there weren't skateparks anywhere near me, so I just skated around my neighborhood. Using gutters and steep driveways as ramps, jumping over curb strips, riding on retaining walls at the edges of people's lawns. Just had to figure out how to work within my limitations. None of it looked terribly impressive, I'm sure, but it was all about the pure joy of just riding on skates without trying to impress anyone else with specific tricks, or style, or being down on myself for not being as good as whoever. Some of the happiest days in my whole life.
This. I'm a 53yr old London skater, and whilst I can do 50 miles in a day, I can't jump, grind or even go backwards. Watching this video made we want to visit LA, but how the heck you guys turn my 2D skating world into a 3D sky still amazes me!
This made me feel like a kid. That kid who just lost time and everything lost it’s place in the presence that skating gave me. Pure, joy. Releasing and embracing the space where I existed.
i really appreciate all the love on this video .. it took us two days to film.. the DTLA shots we got when we took my daughter the cheer practice haha.. we had a 2 hour window
I love that you included a couple of falls in the mix: to me they add a moment of humanity that makes all the rest seem even more impressive! Loving your work.
Awesome vibes with this one! People don’t realize how much work it can be as filmmaker with kids, I can appreciate the extra level of skill needed to pull this off!

Rachard, this edit is an absolute masterpiece! As a huge fan of Montre and someone who looked up to his skills, seeing this old footage I've never come across before is a pure delight. Your editing prowess and storytelling in this video are exceptional. Congratulations to the channel for sharing such remarkable content that not only celebrates the sport but also resonates deeply with skaters, evoking memories and inspiring a new wave of passion for rollerblading. Keep up the incredible work!
Great way to showcase the versatility of these. I like the sound of these frames, you can hear the bearings, they sound solid/rigid but also light at the same time
How can I search in Spanish to the grind block for minute 1:43 ? I am from Argentina and I can not find them because of the direct translation of "grindeo block", thank you.
I've been wanting to get some good rollerblades that I can ride around town with, but also wanted to get some to do grinding ticks with; I didn't know there was an attachment you could use for your skates like that! That's so cool!!

You sir have inspired me to learn. I miss having ma bike(got stolen). I tried rollerblading as a kid. Stop cause I was too scared of falling. I’ve had many falls anyways since then. So Imma get back on, thank you for that.
Much respect for Montre and you Rachard, this video have it all , music, spots , street, park. And on top of it all these all around skatesetup with the parts are top notch ❤❤❤

That last 30 seconds would be an amazing commercial for any mobile phone company! *drops phone on pavement while grinding* “Hello?” Then the caption ‘Relax, it’s a phone’ (Don’t wanna single out any particular brand because they’re all pretty good, but I’m sure some will get the joke) Excellent skating!!! ❤️

Thank you very much, I'm still nervous because it's my first time on a rollerblade I'm also nervous about braking because maybe when I'm going fast I don't know what I'll do but thank you so much for this video.
