    We wouldn't normally let a hive go this long without touching it, but our hive design depends on preventing propolis from causing the pieces to stick. Just to be sure that the hive can still be used after a significant amount of propolis build up, we decided to let this hive sit for over a year.

    Really amazing, just can’t imagine a hive surviving that long without food or mite treatments…equipment and concepts are showing longevity. Dr J

      Tom Seeley showed bees prefer to live in cavities that are the size of an 8-10 frame deep box. There must be a reason. George
