Good morning Kaela. Thank you for another chapter in the Book of Matthew. I love the way you are teaching us. It has really opened up a new and fresh way for me in digging deeper into Gods Word. Yes, I have heard that saying but instead of pink I say red sky at night sailors delight red sky in the morning sailors take warning. I did not know that was referenced in the Bible. Wow, I heard that saying over 35 years ago when I met my husband. Red skies at night, sailors delight, Red skies in mourn sailors be warned. I was told it meant it was going to rain or storm, I never knew it was in the bible, that is so cool! It does stand to be true!
I guess I can really relate to the disciples, I mean what does Jesus have to do to get me to remember all the times he has come through for me but yet I keep doubting him!
There explains why I was named Peter Andrew, by name and by nature. Though it shows how when Peter tried to rebuke Jesus, the tide got turned the other way, so was it Satan talking through Peter? It does make you think. We have a habit of opening our mouths before we even think about what we are about to say.
I think we all need to pursue becoming disciples of Jesus - These teachings are so important from Kaela are so important to our growth. My Grandmother also when in a mess she would use the saying, "Land a Goshen". which we know was a troubled place.

Simon Peter wasn't there when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Also. Elijah didn't die. He was just "taken up" into heaven...
