Pull Down Started at 9pm Most of the Rides, Stalls ect was Pulled Off by 1.30am for Roads to be opened at 6am that morning.
Great footage, thanks for hanging around and showing the public just what goes on when they have long gone home. I've done it myself it's hard graft week in week out.
Thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed the video, all pulled off by the time I left
I used to work casual for william percival years ago building up his waltzer and the dodgems that he used to run for john farrahs. Some fantastic lads worked for him and we had some right laughs 😊😊😊😊
Yes I can relate to that with working on fairs to, thanks for the comment and for watching
Nice to see a different side to the fair. You must have been there a few hours
Glad you liked it showing the hard work that goes into moving the fairs around the country and yes it was breakfast time when I got home.
Nice one for showing behind the scenes, worked on the fairs for years, alot of graft 💪the public don't see or appreciate. Enjoyed the video 👍
Thank you for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video, yes done it myself hard graft when you under pressure to get from one gaff to another.
Nice video thanks. Why on earth do they insist on working under those flashing lights though, it would be much easier to pull down under a bright static white which you could set the sequencer to before pulling down. There were moments where putting them heavy waltzer platforms on the bed and he's shouting is it on the frame, while the lights are pulsating red white blue and all sorts and one point go off completely!
Yes it would be better but it's always been that way, thank you for the comment and glad you liked the video.
Yes welcome to the inbred oddities of the travelling showman. It's always been that way...so we'll keep doing it even though there is no sense to it.
Did I really see a twist being dragged on wooden blocks?.
It had blocks supporting it with rollers under the feet of the ride
