The beauty of this set is that it has been rebuilt from a complete pile of rot, Several people were involved in the restoration of this set (you will find their names on the horses), originally it was built just up the A17 from me for an Irish showman called Toft, but in 89 Emmit purchased it after it had been left rotting in storage for 44 years, its unreal to think it was turned from junk to a fine set in 6 months

For sure, glad to get back home and dry off, I never minded pulling down, building up in cold weather I always got a sweat on but the rain wasn't nice at all and yes the show goes on 👍

With the fair only being open for one night the price will be higher because the showmen have to pay the council fees for attending also costs in fuel for the rides and the lorrys, staff etc thanks for your comment hope you enjoyed the video 👍

@ForeverFunfairsUK2520 I really think that the Long Eaton Chestnut Fair needs a Waltzer just to oomph the ride lineup a bit and add a bit more variety to the ride selection really mate.

Thank you as always pal, yes the matterhorn is a brilliant ride worked on Freddie's revenge in the past for Shaun Roger's, the weather wasn't good raining while I was there then started to snow after I'd left,hoping it will clear for opening on Thursday thanks for watching again 👍

Freddies Revenge that's a blast from the past great that you worked on that ride. Yes i read in the description it began to snow ❄️ I'm so far south and on the coast it rarely snows down here but the temperatures really dropped today.

I enjoyed working on Freddie from time to time I was normally with Shaun on Stargate, yes I've looked at the forecast for opening night and it says snow unfortunately but better on Friday, temperatures here are really dropping though 👍

@ForeverFunfairsUK2520 Yes looking very European with the fire 🔥 canon's too. Oh no, really feel for you my friend, I was all geared up for my bonfire fair and had to cancel. So annoying hope everything's OK 👍

I'm okay thanks 👍 but having to dog sit all through the night and there's only me to do it, shame I can't make the pull down I had planned but things happen, yes more fire canons starting to appear on rides looks great 👍

@ForeverFunfairsUK2520 That's great that you helped out between filming. You can often hear in my build up videos showmen saying put the kin camera down and help 😆 My reply, I'd get no content, joking aside I do chip in here and there where possible, be rude not to.
