LEFORT’s patented TRAX shear/baler/loggers are designed to offer the utmost in scrapyard mobility. A flip of a switch on a remote control converts the machine into crawler mode, allowing the operator to move to the scrap, instead of moving the scrap to the machine. Used properly, this ability allows the creative operator to substantially reduce processing time and minimizes the number of times scrap is touched prior to being loaded for transport to the mill. Used to its highest degree, this design allows one material handler operator to process scrap and load trucks at the same time, while potentially touching the scrap only two times in the process.
