Thanks Oscar, I spent an hour yesterday doing that one sided paddling drill you mentioned briefly and using the technique you described here. What a difference it made to my paddling! Thank you for posting such great information for free. Your passion for this sport and for life in general is inspiring.
Thanks for the video. I've recently got into surf ski paddling and got a sore back. After watching your video I started focusing on using my legs and core more and taking the paddle out before it goes past vertical and my back doesn't get so sore anymore. Thanks from Brisbane, Australia.
Hello Oscar, very enlightening, and analyzing what you just said it makes all sense, i will implement these tips in my paddling and i´m sure that i will see improvements very soon, then i will leave here a comment, i wisch you improvements for your health to recover well and soon as possible so that we can meet in the sea of Madeira Island, in Câmara de Lobos bay in a short time and do some paddling together, a big hug Oscar, wisch you well, ;)
Thank you so much Oscar, been paddling a long time - but learnt so much from this one video - I will be retraing from scratch tomorrow. But cannot believe my Epic paddle has a 60 to 70% off-set and you say there should be no off-set as per the paddle in the video, is that correct? Still my number one Superman, love my V10 Sport, Thank you - from Midmar Dam to Gold Coast AU - Keep Strong.
I absolutely love your focus on technique and that you include biomechanics.
Thank you so much for this wonderfully informative and generous video! I am new to Surfski paddling and this has really helped. Thank you !
