You don't have to apologize for your health problems, you have to take care of yourself first. I liked the idea that Floor's voice is the echo of his lost love ... it's poetic, and very well suited. Thank you!
Translation of Marko’s remarks right before the chorus. Marko: “So if I play the chorus, you’ll sing along right?” Audience: “Yeahhhhhhh!” Marko: “You will?” Audience: “Yeahhhhhh!” Marko: “Okay, so we’re gonna do it.”
First things first: I want to send a million hugs on behalf of the Nightwish Army for your health issues - I think you're a real trooper for bringing us your reactions :-) And yes, this is an awesome rendition of this fantastic song, and one of the few that allows Marko to get a chance to show his singing chops in full. I'll never get over his leaving, but will still love the man and appreciate the incredible contribution he made to my new favourite band hehe. The only note is that this video has subtitles in English, and the intro to it from Marko is quite amusing, so do listen with them on when you get the chance. Thanks!
Yeah, I know we've got a couple of annoying people in the Army but generally I think most people will be like "Oh man, it sucks that you're dealing with those health issues. We're happy to have you here when you're able to be." Also the Islander is great, totally recommend High Hopes from End of an Era in Helsinki.
Like an island is off shore, isolated in the ocean from the land, so was Marko performances as ‘the Islander’. He did asked the audience in Finnish to join him by sing along with him this song.
”One might someday be cool enough to have a long, braided viking beard. And one might someday be cool enough to have that beard AND be bassist for the greatest metal band in the world. But you’ll never be cool enough to have that beard, be that bassist, AND have Floor Jansen as your BACKUP singer!”
Floor Jansen, the world's greatest metal backup singer. Seeing the delight on your face was worth a $1M. I am so sorry to hear about your ongoing health struggles. We understand that there will be days where the struggle is too much. Thank you for taking the time to showcase your reaction to this wonderful song. Take care!
Hi Molly Bee, great to see you again reacting to Nightwish. Marko and Floor, they are great singing together, with only a simple accompaniment by the band. Just beautiful. About your health condition, you are very brave to tell about it to us. Don't apologize for that. This is your channel and you decide, how you carry on with it. Your health is number 1, everything else comes after that. You do the reactions when you feel better. When it's time for the next one, we are happy to see it. I wish you would have better days more than bad days. Take care, see you.
As a disabled person like you I hurt also with very bad COPD I understand the only thing that helps me get through each day is watching Nightwish & Floor reactions. I really enjoy your Nightwish reactions. Do the best you can the Nightwish Army will always be here . praying for you
I'm in agreement with davfive, Floor as the ghost in the Islander's mind is a great way to envision her role in the song. Great reaction to a wonderful song. Music is the great healer. The magic of Nightwish has helped me find joy and relief while dealing with a great deal of pain and illness. The pain didn't go away, instead they elevate me above it. I hope they bring you similar comfort. 💜
Low and High (Tin) whistles are what Troy plays (among all the other instruments he can play). Also this is the song that really brought Troy into the band. He was introduced to the band and he and Tuomas became fast friends.
Yes, I agree with the interpretation you gave, and I love that they let Marko be the lead, gave him is spotlight for a few minutes. He deserved it and is such a talented guy. It also shows how the band is not about egos, and they are like a travelling family. Loved the reaction, and sorry for your pain. You take care of you first, you seem like a great person, and love those dragon tats.
You are correct. It s actually called a low whistle. A traditional Irish woodwind instrument. Well done Molly. Loved it. Great commentary on Floor's ghostly part. Be well.
no worries - you react, when you feel up to it. Floor as backing vocalist for Marko, and nice take on her vocals being like the ghost of the lost love. Take care!
@mollybee, my daughter deals with pain in her daily life (migraines and more) so your words on the matter touched me. I send you healing energies. I enjoy your reactions and you have a bright and positive aura around you. ✌️🤗🇨🇦
This is one of my favorites. It's a good old sea shanty. It's a steel flute. Buy the way NEVER apologize, I suffered from Migraines when I was young. Once I hit 45 they subsided. Keep smiling because you are a gorgeous lady both inside and outside. Take care
Greetings from Finland & thank you for this reaction. In fact Marko is a great vocalist & he also had his own heavy metal band from 1982 until 2015 when their drummer died. He has also performed as a guest vocalist with bands like Delain, Ayreon, Avantasia & Therion. P.S. Sorry to hear about your health issues, but at least pain means that one is still alive & able to find out what lies ahead in the future. Hopefully they are mostly good things for you & others as well. P.S.S. Given your tattoos, you should change your channel's name to be something like "Molly, queen of dragons" or "Molly & the dragons" or "Dragon Molly".
Hi Molly, hope you get more good days soon. In Finnish he is saying something like the best of the band weaselled out and there is just one of him vs a crowd of 12,000. (if I remember correctly from reading subtitles some time ago) Originally Tuomas wanted to set up a folk-metal band, but Tarja's unique skills had to be explored, which require moving into the direction that was later called symphonic metal. Leter Tuomas wanted to bring back some of the folk and he invited Troy for the folk instruments like flutes and of course the uillean pipes.
Marko singing "High hopes", and 'Heavy Metal on Ice consert' with Tarot band singing "Guardian Angel" and "Things that crawl at night" are worth checking out - have fun 🙂
Very heavy metal😁 Troy is the multi-instrumentalist/ singer and in this he plays Oleson low whistle... Haven't seen painfree days since a sucker car turned in front of my motorbike and my neck C4 moved. No need to apologize💜💜
I'm sorry for your health problems. You don't have to apologize for one bit. Just take care of yourself. Quality of the content is way more important than quantity anyway and I just watched all your NW and Epica reactions and really enjoyed your articulate and insightful comments. Thank you.

You missed the beginning and the end. There is a version that shows these with sub titles. It is great this way too, but you get a real feeling with how everyone is interacting with each other.
Hi Molly Bee! I like your NW reactions and i enjoy them every time! No need to apologize about anything, that's your channel and you can do whatever however whenever you want. I'm really sorry for your chronicle issues but you are always so nice and so positive and i really like this! 🖤 Behold that! I wish you only the best for the future. I like "The Islander" very much and Marcos voice, not many can say they had Floor Jansen as background singer! 😉 I will ask you if you maybe will see some songs from the early Nightwish days, there is a video called "Live lista charts Finnland" from 1998 i think, with the NW songs "Sacrament of wilderness" and "Gethsemane", without the talking bevore it's about 10 minutes. This video is really funny to look, they all are looking like babys and because it was shortly after Tuomas and the others army time they all have short hair, really funny to see! And i like the songs, they sounds in the good old Nightwish stile. I hear NW since 1998 and the song "Gethsemane" was the 2nd or 3rd song i hear of them, Angels fall first (the first album has the same title) was the first song i'd hear from NW and i buy the 1st and the 2nd album what's called Ozeanborne togerher, the song "Gethsemane" is on the 2nd album. I would like it see an reaction from you of this 2 songs! Greetings and all my best wishes to you from 🇪🇺Vienna🇦🇹! 🖤 Keep care! 🖤 (sorry for some mistakes, my english isn't the best but i think you know what i would say and i get better)
You should really watch nightwish high hopes, its a Pink Floyd cover, i think thats it's a Best song performed by Marko and i have follow nightwish since 1996 or 1997
Molly, don't apologize for something that's out of your control. I also have varying pain issues, my cervical spine is crumbling causing nerve pain issues. Have had many attempts through procedures, including surgery where they tried to fuse 3 vertebrates together, throwing in some cadaver bone to fill in missing bone. Didn't work quite as planned, only 2 out of 3 fused together. Actually just had an MRI to see where things stand because of the pain, and as foretold things are getting worse. There's more to this, but I'm not looking for pity, it's out of my control and I just live the best I can. I hope that some day science can find a way to comfort you. I don't expect a response, I'm sure you know that you're not alone. I do love your reactions!!! 🌹
You shouldn't apologise what you do with your channel. It is YOUR channel, not someone else's who commented something. If you want to do a variety of content instead of a single performer, just do it. Own your actions just like you seem to own your daily pain. Instead of surrendering to the pain you seem to fight through it. Some days are too much but everyone needs more rest once in a while. Now, I'm gonna continue to your reaction to Marco. Wishing well from Finland.
I know the song might sound Irish, but we do have a lot of lighthouses in Finland as well. Finland (and Sweden) are the two top countries in the world for the amount of islands around the coasts. Lots and lots, very dangerous for ships so lighthouses are a must. Lots of underwater shoals, small rocks sticking up, low rocky islands that could be missed by a tired nightwatch. Some of those lighthouses sit in such nasty locations that adverse weather could keep the supply boats from reaching it at all for weeks, and the station keeper would just have to keep working even if he should have been releived by another one already. Not a job for someone who needs a crowd of people around him.
Another awesome NW song with Marko as the lead, which also has a different vibe, is "While Your Lips Are Still Red", live from Wembley 2015. I think you'll love it too. ruclips.net/video/5V7PKv493Ic/видео.html
My mom has fibromyalgia, so I completely understand what you are going through. Well, that's not true. I can't say I understand because I can't actually feel what you feel. It would be disrespectful to assume I truly understand. But I can say I appreciate just how hard life can be when you are in chronic pain. I've watched her suffer for the past 30 years and hated every minute of it.
Molly....don't worry about it. I have live with chronic pain since I was 21 years old...and I am 64 now. I was severely injured playing college football, where I was an Offensive Lineman...so I am really big guy! I had six operations on my left leg, including two for clearing out infected muscles tissue in my quadricep. I also have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, in my knees, hips, hands and lower back and a rare genetic blood disease/disorder that predispositions me to having DVT's. 2 of the DVT's almost killed me, causing heart attacks! I understand chronic pain, and some days, I just can't do much at all! I am an artist, and some times even holding a paint brush is painful! But I have taught myself to paint left handed, as the RA isn't as bad as it is in my right hand! So...I work on my projects as much as possible! It helps...it keeps me from dwelling on the pain! Keep up the wonderful reaction videos! Check out "ELAN"... one of Nightwish's songs that really makes me happy! I just love the official music video and the live version from Buenos Aries! If you can..find the whole concert on RUclips... it's a great listen! I have the two CD and DVD set in my collection!
Hi, idk if you will read this comment, but I hope this beautiful music helps you ease your pain at least for a moment. The flute-like instrument is a low whistle :)
Great reaction. Side note: This may or may not have anything to do with your condition, but when I hear of chronic pain and migraines I always ask if the person is using diet sweeteners, using air fresheners or burning candles. All of these can bring on fibromyalgia, various pains, and migraines. Essential oils are a much better method to scent you home. But again, I know nothing of your situation. Great tats! God bless!
What you call an Irish folk song is actually a BRITISH folk song. Folk songs from Scotland England and Wales are just like the Irish ones. Anyway, its a great song. I hope you have less pain in your days. I can sympathise, I have bad arthritis and effects from a stroke.
Sorry to hear about the Endo, my wife and both daughters suffer pretty badly from it so I know exactly where you're coming from. It's a horrible condition to deal with and sadly very poorly served by the medical community.
Hello, if you like this kind of music then listen to a song by the band 'RUNRIG' (the best Scottish folk rock Band). the Song LOCH LOMOND or BOOK OF GOLDEN STORIES. Please do a live performance. Best regards
Molly, you may be interested to know in light of your painful condition, that a band from New Zealand, released a song called 'Endo' describing exactly the malaise. The singer, Jenny Skulander wrote this from her own experience. ruclips.net/video/xRph9EpviKM/видео.html
Are your chronic issues genetics related? As someone with some chronic auto-immune issues I can empathize somewhat. I believe there is hope though, chronic or not. Things can get better. Sometimes simply life-style changes. I hope you feel better soon.
Susceptibility to Endometriosis is genetically inherited, but how bad you get it seems to be down to chance. About 1 in 10 women suffer from it, it seems to be developmental but the jury is still out because so little real research is done on it. It's a disgracefully undersupported condition given how common it is.
Please react to an all female heavy metal band from Japan called Lovebites. They sing in English and have two phenomenal guitarists. Please do the live version of the song titled "A Frozen Serenade" Use this link: ruclips.net/video/v3dRckDw1GM/видео.html
There is no need to apologize. We all have our burdens to bear. Sorry that yours is worse than most. My wife suffers from migraines as well, so I'm well aware of how taxing that by itself can be.
FYI, if you like the Irish folk music sound, then "I Want My Tears Back" should be on your short list. Troy plays the Uilleann pipes (Irish bag pipes) instead of the low whistle, as he did in this one. Linkage for your convenience, live from Buenos Aires 2019 (one of the favorite live versions): ruclips.net/video/TBOdgxjb0kM/видео.html You will never see a more pumped up crowd!
You don't have to apologize for your health problems, you have to take care of yourself first.
I liked the idea that Floor's voice is the echo of his lost love ... it's poetic, and very well suited.
Thank you!
"Floor is like the ghost of the memory in the Islander's mind". That was one of the best thoughts I've heard describing Floor in this song.
Translation of Marko’s remarks right before the chorus.
Marko: “So if I play the chorus, you’ll sing along right?”
Audience: “Yeahhhhhhh!”
Marko: “You will?”
Audience: “Yeahhhhhh!”
Marko: “Okay, so we’re gonna do it.”

And composed the music for this song well. Tuomas wrote the lyrics.
Regardless of who you are, there's no shame in being backup for Marko.
Floor Jansen, the world's greatest metal backup singer. Seeing the delight on your face was worth a $1M. I am so sorry to hear about your ongoing health struggles. A very well thought out reaction, thank you. Your insight that Floor's voice may represent the ghost in his memory was new and refreshing to me.
There is another video of this that has an intro to the song by Marko. It is funny. Troy called it an Irish low whistle.
The instrument that Troy played is called a low whistle, very popular in Celtic styles.
I'm in agreement with davfive, Floor as the ghost in the Islander's mind is a great way to envision her role in the song. Great reaction to a wonderful song. Music is the great healer. One of my favorite performances by them, and a very nice reaction from you. The flute-like instrument Troy is playing is called a low whistle.
There were far too many empty seats! Wish I could have been in one of them!!!
I love Marko and this song is one of my favorite of Nightwish! He is very underrated because Floor is just too amazing but he is also a great singer

It's actually an Irish Low Whistle. He also plays the Tin Whistle which is smaller and higher pitched.
I hope the music of Nightwish.
The pain heals a little.
I wish you a lot of health.
Greetings from the Netherlands.
Love your take on it! Beautiful take.
Much Love 💙💛💙

Having chronic pain myself, I sure can understand. Just enjoy the days of lesser pain! Your reactions are to the point! 👍
I love Marco🇫🇮😍!!
Hi Molly, hope you get more good days soon.
In Finnish he is saying something like the best of the band weaselled out and there is just one of him vs a crowd of 12,000. (if I remember correctly from reading subtitles some time ago)
Originally Tuomas wanted to set up a folk-metal band, but Tarja's unique skills had to be explored, which require moving into the direction that was later called symphonic metal.

You're so sweet and love your energy, thanks for doing these reactions for us
Marko singing "High hopes", and 'Heavy Metal on Ice consert' with Tarot band singing "Guardian Angel" and "Things that crawl at night" are worth checking out - have fun 🙂
Very heavy metal😁 Troy is the multi-instrumentalist/ singer and in this he plays Oleson low whistle...
Haven't seen painfree days since a sucker car turned in front of my motorbike and my neck C4 moved. No need to apologize💜💜
Kiitos paljon from Finland. I love Marko Hietalas voice :)
So sad that Marco is not anymore in NW. He is so awseome musician and a long time base rock in this band. Nice performance and show as always.
Hi Molly. That was an Irish Low Whistle. Greetings from Yorkshire. John.
Мало кто эту песню сморит ..... это необычно! Но спасибо! Мы следи за всеми песнями! ))))
I'm sorry for your health problems. You don't have to apologize for one bit. Just take care of yourself. Quality of the content is way more important than quantity anyway and I just watched all your NW and Epica reactions and really enjoyed your articulate and insightful comments. Thank you.

I’m sorry that you’re going through that. I understand completely, my daughter has the same illness. Very painful, hang in there🙏.
Lovely reaction and interpretation, Molly. For more of this vibe "My Walden" from this same show. 🤘🕊🤘
I understand living with pain, I have chronic back pain due to scoliosis and it's completely understandable, so take any and all time that you need. This song makes me want to go back to ren faires heh
If you want to hear more Marco try one he did under his own name called Voice of my father , it can evoke some strong emotions.
dont need to apologize ... you are so lovelly, we all want to hug you
You missed the beginning and the end. There is a version that shows these with sub titles. It is great this way too, but you get a real feeling with how everyone is interacting with each other.
It’s probably the official video. When they released it after Marko left, I noticed they had cut it short.

I knew you'd love this one :)
I wish you all the best and hope easier days to come regarding your health!
Nightwishaliscious! 🤘😆🤘
You should really watch nightwish high hopes, its a Pink Floyd cover, i think thats it's a Best song performed by Marko and i have follow nightwish since 1996 or 1997

one of my favorite songs, helps me unwind after a long day.
compose and lyrics

You missed the first 5 min of it where he clowngs around with the crowd. The 2nd singer Anette did make a music video with this song..
😊🇫🇮🤘❤️🎶🎹🎸🥁✨👍
Edit. With Nigthwish, no pain, enjoy ✨🎶❤️🤘
Another awesome NW song with Marko as the lead, which also has a different vibe, is "While Your Lips Are Still Red", live from Wembley 2015. I think you'll love it too.

If you like these Celtic kind of songs I recommend "My Walden" from the same show.
Hi, idk if you will read this comment, but I hope this beautiful music helps you ease your pain at least for a moment.
The flute-like instrument is a low whistle :)
Hope Marko got the T shirt before he left (Floor Jensan was my backing singer)
Respect and don't apologice!
I myself has a not so good spine. I manage in often pain that would make another person uncontoious. Please don't die my fair lady
Marko is back, a few days ago he released a video.

wow nice dragon tattoos, and they're even life sized! happy to finally see REALISTICLY sized dragons, instead of big huge hollywood dragons. :)
Great tats! God bless!
NIGHTWISH - Storytime (OFFICIAL LIVE VIDEO) pls :)
could you react to high hopes from 2005 and elan live from buenos aires?
Be well, honey. Many of us have health issues and understand. Internet hugs to you!
Era Aoi 😄😃😄😃👍
What you call an Irish folk song is actually a BRITISH folk song. Folk songs from Scotland England and Wales are just like the Irish ones. Anyway, its a great song. I hope you have less pain in your days. I can sympathise, I have bad arthritis and effects from a stroke.
Nice :)
Sorry to hear about the Endo, my wife and both daughters suffer pretty badly from it so I know exactly where you're coming from. It's a horrible condition to deal with and sadly very poorly served by the medical community.
Hello, if you like this kind of music
then listen to a song by the band 'RUNRIG' (the best Scottish folk rock Band).
the Song LOCH LOMOND or BOOK OF GOLDEN STORIES.
Please do a live performance. Best regards
Comments or reactions?! I was just waiting for you to take me out on taco night.
Molly, you may be interested to know in light of your painful condition, that a band from New Zealand, released a song called 'Endo' describing exactly the malaise.
The singer, Jenny Skulander wrote this from her own experience.

You are the child of mary louise parker right?
It cant be a coincidence. Night wish rocks though
Watch strong by emma heesters in beste zangers 2019 a song written by floor
👍❤️❤️👍
Please react to an all female heavy metal band from Japan called Lovebites. They sing in English and have two phenomenal guitarists. Please do the live version of the song titled "A Frozen Serenade" Use this link: ruclips.net/video/v3dRckDw1GM/видео.html
While your lips are still red...... if you liked this one, you'll love that one.
More than 4 minutes of intro and then you cut out the most entertaining part in the beginning? :(
no irish celtic
omg you are beautiful
There is no need to apologize. We all have our burdens to bear. Sorry that yours is worse than most. My wife suffers from migraines as well, so I'm well aware of how taxing that by itself can be.
FYI, if you like the Irish folk music sound, then "I Want My Tears Back" should be on your short list. Troy plays the Uilleann pipes (Irish bag pipes) instead of the low whistle, as he did in this one. Linkage for your convenience, live from Buenos Aires 2019 (one of the favorite live versions): ruclips.net/video/TBOdgxjb0kM/видео.html
You will never see a more pumped up crowd!
Oy
Gotta be harsh editing and what when Migraines may be prominent part of your life. Good Luck.
