Daniel, we have not forgotten your magnificent recital here in Ames, Iowa. You were our last piano recital until two years later, due to Covid. I came upon this by accident and was thrilled to see this performance on the screen! -- Paula Forrest
I was Very Fortunate to Have Been Friends with Vladimir Horowitz and I can say he would have Really Flipped for your Playing !…… I just happened upon this performance my chance !…… keep up The Great Work 📣📣📣📣
Bravo, Daniel!!! What a beautiful performance. We remember you fondly here in Ames, Iowa for the Town & Gown concert series in 2019. I hope you're doing well! ... and enjoying the occasional pizza! :)
I think this interpretation is so interesting, because while some passages are played a tad bit faster then I would approach them myself, his touch is so considerate that it compensates for the increased tempo.
There was a time..many moons ago, that pianists of Asian descent were deemed to not be able to interpret western music very well (imagine)! That was then..this is today!

his second mvt is too fast in my opinion.
this is the romantic period and tempi can be bent very effectively.
My favorite rendition behind Ashkenazy's...and a bit similar. Even more Robato and very expressive. Bravo!
Robato? Mr. Robato? 😆
Bravo Daniel. Beautifully played!
Saw daniel a few weeks ago. He is amazing!
Lovely interpretation. You are truly magnificent. I wish you the very best. Have happiness!
