Do you ever get hassled for copyright infringement? is it allowed to just use for example,,, 8bit song cover of a blink 182 song in one of my videos?
@@streetplaya23 I haven't activated monetization, so I can do what I want :) I don't really know about it, but on RUclips, if I had activated it, all or part of the earnings would have been to the rights holders. On Spotify and other listening platforms, it is necessary to indicate the creators, composers, authors, etc. therefore the winnings are automatically directed to the right people
@@streetplaya23 the rights holders can request that the video no longer be referenced, etc. This happened to me for a cover that I did almost 10 years ago... it may have changed since then... For use in other videos, if this one is not monetized, I don't think RUclips cares about it. You just have to ask permission from the author of the video :)
