I do have to say, It's even more beautiful outside under the sun. Great job on the project, can't wait to see it pulling a load down the highway. Again great video..
Living in Kentucky most of my life I've had my fair share of mud dauber nest being a pain in the neck. They're a type of wasp Rich. As a commercial truck tech I was cringing most of the video when talking about the air systems and the trans air lines lol Glad you were able to take her the show. It's a beautiful truck Rich.
Literally he has the same personality and humbleness In these videos and real life. Met him today at the Carlisle car show in Pennsylvania. Thanks again Rich!
You did an excellent job getting that Kenworth k100 cab over up and running. After it's been restored, and it's parts replaced, you rebuilt it from the ground up. Now All that remains is for you to get all the lights working make sure the brake lights are functional and it passes all US-DOT specifications and safety standards.
Just a thought ... what about making an "X" with the brace on exhaust... that has always bothered me when I had mine .... just say'n LOVE the truck great job !!!
I don't know a lot about HD trucks but, I know what I like when I see it and this Kenworth is an absolute beauty, a bonny and potentially a joy forever.
Who doesn’t love a little poke yoke? The bugs are called dirt dobbers. I’ve never encountered them anywhere in Canada. I’ve been to Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and am an Albertan. They look like wasps, but don’t bite. They’re everywhere here in Texas. Such a cool project and I’m really happy to see it rolling now (even if I saw it rolling on the other video lol)
I do love this truck refurbishment, I hope that you give the interior similar love that the outside has, it will be a cool rig to tow your projects to events with.
That last statement alone makes it all worth it. Building a kenworth in 6 months from the ground up is a major FEAT for sure and I give you props my dude!
For me, this whole truck is Pretty Kool, but the fact you put a cabover on a non cabover frame is just crazy amazing I love big jobs that aren't supposed to work but im not kidding that seemed like it was going to be near impossible to get it to work.. now I want to do it rather than do a frame stretch. doubt I will but sure looks like a ton of fun.. appreciate you having the "stones" to attempt it and knock it out of the park... Rite On!!!
ive been plugging away at my new engine and transmission for my MR2 all winter and about to put it back into the car. Your channel and great ambition has helped me push forward in my own projects. Hope to one day drive up from New Brunswick and check out the shop someday.
I just ran across this video and your channel. Very nice to see someone start projects and not abandon them. It looks like your heart is in it for the right reasons and not just trying to be a wanna be RUclips star like Tim Gentry.
My son Jason met you guys at the Toronto show and said he had a great visit with you guys. It's nice to see the good impression that you put on the younger generation of new mechanics coming on, that they can have something nice if they work hard and get outside and do it. Thanks for taking the time and talking to the kids from Napanee.
I reckon you have sufficient rear lighting there, Rich 😁 Man, she preeedy and she sounds great 😎 Wishing you good luck with your driving tuition and test!
What a great looking cab over. Fell in love with them back in the 70’s. A company in Windsor ON, ICL,had a broker division and those guys used the K100’s almost exclusively at one time hauling steel coils out of Hamilton. Classy then classic now. Great work and great attitude. Love the channel
This is one of my dream’s, a nice shop to build big trucks and everything else. Takes deep pockets to build with the big boys, but they can pay for themselves, that’s a good return on the investment.
Dream truck right there. 😍 I admire your hard work, it's definitely a head turner! I've been in trucking all my life and flat top K100's have always been my favorite looking rig. I really hope I can see this truck in person some day!
That Cat 3406B sounds really nice. I did love the sound of the Cat's such as the 3406B on the 623B and the 3408B on the 631D when I was driving scoops.
Rich you have the patience of Job determination of a mad man mechanical abilities and fabricating abilities to get it all done. congratulations. fantastic build. looking forward to the next one.
Nice! Great to see it moving after so many years. Good luck with the license testing. In the US we do call it a class A CDL for heavy vehicles. Great to see all the work you guys did to make it usable and looking so nice. Wish I could come to Carlyle. Some day...KUTGW.
Massively impressed with how much you all achieve as a team. How much longer would this project have stretched into the future without the sef-imposed Motorama deadline as a big carrot/stick?
13:01 the yellow valve is supposed to operate the tractor brakes only. As long as the tractor breaks are all applied and released with the yellow valve, that part of the air system is correct. The brake pedal is supposed to operate both tractor and trailer brakes but obviously only when hauling a trailer. When not hauling a trailer, the brakes should only be applied to the tractor so in this case, that too would be right so long as the brakes also can be applied to a trailer.
You chose the perfect red Rich, it’s almost identical to the red that I’ve chosen for my wife’s car wheels and engine 👌🏻 I’ve got one of those crimp kits with jaws for cutting rebar, they work amazing in my honest opinion 😄
G’day Rich, the truck is starting to take shape beautifully 👍. In New South Wales, Australia the licence code for your truck is a Heavy Combination (HC). I can’t wait to see the video of you training for your endorsement.
I love to come work for you Rich... doing whatever is needed I'm pretty mechanically inclined and local. Love watching your videos and what you do and would/ have always wanted to have a job doin anything involved in vehicles. Keep up the great work 👍
Tip if your ever dealing with stainless protection wrap, if you get some old copper pipe flatten one end and give it a sharp edge you can cut the wrap without putting any marks on the stainless.
Seeing it back out of the shop into the sunlight must have been an amazing feeling :)
Love how fast the old mechanical fuel systems start. That old cat sounds great.
Man, y'all built a damn good looking cabover! Thanks for keeping the cabover legacy alive. Fine job!!
I would say NA is actually keeping the cab-behind-engine legacy alive, everywhere else cabovers are the norm since the 70s
@@olik136 in Europe where the roads are tiny.
I do have to say, It's even more beautiful outside under the sun. Great job on the project, can't wait to see it pulling a load down the highway. Again great video..

Thanks man
I love how fast it starts. So many diesels crank slow and for a long time.
You did an excellent job getting that Kenworth k100 cab over up and running. After it's been restored, and it's parts replaced, you rebuilt it from the ground up.

You have a bad ass kwhooper...with the 3406b cat good job bro
Nice gonna be a great day. Start my morning with a coffee and a live feed with DeBoss. Hell yeah!!!!
This is the best build you have done to date
My uncle was a trucker for 27 years before he passed and man, he would have loved this truck. Nice job
Just a thought ... what about making an "X" with the brace on exhaust... that has always bothered me when I had mine .... just say'n LOVE the truck great job !!!
Know what I'm doing for my lunch break, solid timing 👌
I don't know a lot about HD trucks but, I know what I like when I see it and this Kenworth is an absolute beauty, a bonny and potentially a joy forever.
I'm impressed. You guys did a awesome job. It looks like a brand new truck.
They really did, I'm astonished how well it turned out. Especially the paint on the frame and the body, its gorgeous
Looking at that truck is never boring. This whole build was great!
Who doesn’t love a little poke yoke? The bugs are called dirt dobbers. I’ve never encountered them anywhere in Canada. I’ve been to Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and am an Albertan. There is something about those old cabovers that really appeals to me...and apparently many others. This is an especially nice one.
I just love the mad Genius that went into this truck loved watching it come together
gotta love dirt dobbers, always plugging something up.
Just listen to that whistle hum when it idles away.. Beautiful sound & it looks neat under the sun.. well done & a great job!!
What was Once Old, Is Now NEW AGAIN!!! Great Job!!! Excellent!!! :)
Guess I’m procrastinating ATLEAST until 12 now…
I do love this truck refurbishment, I hope that you give the interior similar love that the outside has, it will be a cool rig to tow your projects to events with.
Oh, I think we already saw it running, Rich. I think this is my favourite build of yours. The Audi was good, but not this good.
That last statement alone makes it all worth it. Building a kenworth in 6 months from the ground up is a major FEAT for sure and I give you props my dude!
Great job. Now the hard part, keeping all that shiny stuff shiny!
Love this project! Can’t wait for the next instalment

Absolutely love this biuld. Brings me back to BJ and The Bear days. Thanks for bringing us along.

ONE HELL OF A JOB!! GOOD JOB RICH!
Purrrrrs like a kitty should. I appreciate that every time I start my 3406.
I reckon you have sufficient rear lighting there, Rich 😁 Man, she preeedy and she sounds great 😎 Wishing you good luck with your driving tuition and test!
That looks fantastic outside, Rich and friends. Well done
WOW what a beauty! It’s even better out in the sunshine.
I can't wait to see this one fully finished off and what you do with the interior. This truck is a beast. It looks amazing from the outside.
Is there an episode where they do the interior?
Beautiful colors, thanks for all your episodes, want more
What a great looking cab over. Fell in love with them back in the 70’s. A company in Windsor ON, ICL,had a broker division and those guys used the K100’s almost exclusively at one time hauling steel coils out of Hamilton. Classy then classic now. Great work and great attitude. Love the channel
That rig looks fantastic in the daylight. Good job on your endeavor.
I drove a an Australian 104 with a C15 in it for a few years a long time ago. It's been great watching you rebuild this one, well done.
This has to be one of my favorite series, ever. What a fantastic job guys.
Beautiful job on the K100
This is one of my dream’s, a nice shop to build big trucks and everything else. Takes deep pockets to build with the big boys, but they can pay for themselves, that’s a good return on the investment.
I loved this series.
Man Rich, you have built a gorgeous rig.
I just found one a 74 with 110000 original miles a family friend has had it parked since 80 and he is finally ready to let me get it!!
That Turbo whistle is intense. lol... I love it.
In Sask it’s your 1A! So cool to see it running and moving truck sounds and looks awesome!!
Father-in-law is getting his cdl here shortly and will be in a pnw log truck by the end of June. ❤ from pnw oregon

Dream truck right there. 😍 I admire your hard work, it's definitely a head turner! I've been in trucking all my life and flat top K100's have always been my favorite looking rig. I really hope I can see this truck in person some day!
Kentucky here. Dirt daubers is what we call them. They are super annoying but harmless. Coolest build on RUclips!
That Cat 3406B sounds really nice. I did love the sound of the Cat's such as the 3406B on the 623B and the 3408B on the 631D when I was driving scoops.
Really enjoy the show. Truck is beautiful well done. Mick
That is a beautiful rig Rich. 10/10
Rich you have the patience of Job determination of a mad man mechanical abilities and fabricating abilities to get it all done. congratulations. fantastic build. looking forward to the next one.
you built one bad ass truck Rich!! nice job
Nice! Great to see it moving after so many years. Good luck with the license testing. In the US we do call it a class A CDL for heavy vehicles. Great to see all the work you guys did to make it usable and looking so nice. Wish I could come to Carlyle. Some day...KUTGW.
that truck is a stunner.... get together with FSC trucking for a photo shoot. that truck is amazing!
Massively impressed with how much you all achieve as a team. How much longer would this project have stretched into the future without the sef-imposed Motorama deadline as a big carrot/stick?
That is a sharp truck. That motor actually sounds real good.
Very well worth it Rich congratulations.
That is one beautiful truck right now Rich. What a great job you have done on this.
Great job with the battery cable. Very simple and effective installation.
the editing work at 16:08 is some ove the best ive ever seen

WOOT cant wait to see you drive it im currently getting my class 1-CDL very nice work man!!!!
Sweeeeeeeet!!!! Thats one fine cabover. My dad had an Astro 8V Detroit. Loved that truck.
Its just never ends: You buy a great Tank project, next thing you know is you building an awesome towing setup for it :)
Well done rich. So awesome too see. Keep up the good work
Yes. It’s not getting done. Awesome vid
You likely sing the Trace Adkins song, Chrome, with the line: My Favorite Color Is Chrome! Looks great! 👍👍
Good luck on your test Rich…. The truck looks great!
Wait what? You guys come to my home town of carlisle for the show!? Badass!!
13:01 the yellow valve is supposed to operate the tractor brakes only. As long as the tractor breaks are all applied and released with the yellow valve, that part of the air system is correct. When not hauling a trailer, the brakes should only be applied to the tractor so in this case, that too would be right so long as the brakes also can be applied to a trailer.
The issue was more about the exhaust vent from the release valve. Not releasing properly was causing slow/insufficient travel on the rear cans.
What a beautiful truck you guys are doing an amazing job
13 speeds are something to get used to. Your hand will stay busy. Cool vid 👍
Hope you are bringing a tent to PA. It’s the rainy season.
You chose the perfect red Rich, it’s almost identical to the red that I’ve chosen for my wife’s car wheels and engine 👌🏻
I’ve got one of those crimp kits with jaws for cutting rebar, they work amazing in my honest opinion 😄
G’day Rich, the truck is starting to take shape beautifully 👍. In New South Wales, Australia the licence code for your truck is a Heavy Combination (HC). I can’t wait to see the video of you training for your endorsement.
Love ya Rich. That truck is the bomb!
Best regards from Indiana, USA.
Good for you Rich. Looks great
I love to come work for you Rich... doing whatever is needed I'm pretty mechanically inclined and local. Love watching your videos and what you do and would/ have always wanted to have a job doin anything involved in vehicles. Keep up the great work 👍

So Cool to see how these rigs work..so many air lines!
