hey I have a turbo e36 m52. What manifold are you using? I'm using SPA. And do you use a scavenge pump? And what engine management? I'm using R.K Tunes software
I mean I think we can both agree that its pretty much impossible for a 16 year old to build and maintain a car at this level. I do what I can and pay for what I can, but its been kind of a father-son thing from the start.
His age is going to be a advantage when he get older. He'll be pro in no time. Expensive hobby for a kid. As a father i like the fact lil dude aint got his face stuck in a phone talking about nothing.

Ah dude i was on some street racing shit when i was his age in the late 90's. Hes a car guy for life if hes anything like me.
His know-how can easily make up for the cost factor as he gets older too. Working in the industry and building custom shit is where the moneys at
@@PgamerTBP I went to mechanics school with someone that was 16 and big time into drifting. He was building an E30 turbo with 300hp. By the time he was 20 he was in an E36 with a 700hp supercharged M60 V8 from a 540i. I know for a fact he paid for everything himself except for birthday and christmas presents. If you can fabricate things yourself and buy used stuff when possible you can save a ton of money. He didnt sit around playing Forza and looking at Supra videos. He wanted to chase drifting so he did. Hes now 25 and still at it.
Hey! My car was built by Technica too. Brett is a wizard with the stock ECU (Owns the company too). Right before he said it I noticed his side mount and thought "Huh, don't see many people running side mounts these days other than Technica kits"

It's an expensive league to compete in. The sponsors willing to back a drift team are already backing a team. There are some but they are small things like free coilovers or discount parts but in the large side it's not happening. Look at RAD Dan. He is his major sponsor. He gets parts as and things but the car is his built by him in his repair shop. Driven in his truck and trailer from Cslifornia to Florida, Georgia, New Jersey. Getting a pro am isn't much better as major sponsors aren't doing much st all there. Then you can drive across country, get a bad call in round 1 and you are done for the next 2 weeks. No money won means its all out of your pocket. There are guys who have earned the pro 1 FD license and are still doing local stuff because of the costs and travel. It takes the fun out of it hence why FD has been begging some older drivers to come back. As well once you get past small locals everyone is running hi end engines for tire speed to get smoke and that's a huge expense. He's said that going pro runs the fun side of drifting. He's said he'd do it if everything fell in place but he's got hundreds of guys out in front already.

i was super hyped for this event, then didnt make it, but collins e36 is pretty dope seen it around the Lone Star events for a few years now, cool kid, cool car, going to be the youngest beast in pro2 soon im sure.

How is it bored to 2.9 normally you put in a 2.8 crank from a M52B28. Or you make it 3.0 but I have never seen a 2.9
