So yes you do have the right to protest but the WAY one protests can be regulated. For example, you do not have to right to set up an encampment in the middle of the college like that. Particularly when you're going to take over buildings and deny others free access across the campus are to those buildings or vandalism them. So think a little bit before you say something as simplistic as "protest is legal".
