We had decided that for the Indian Ocean sailing passage, Bonita and Tallula would fly to Mauritius and meet us there. We knew this day was coming, but saying goodbye to the family was difficult at best.
The new crew arrive and to introduce everyone to the boat, we head out to the islands chasing some waves. We head straight to the southern Mentawai region and roll into some solid surf.
The Indian Ocean crossing is just days away and the excitement onboard is building. What an adventure ahead.

Clearly the best Aussie content on RUclips by a mile!..why?..it’s all real & no bung on!
It would probably be a good idea to rig up a fuel polisher. Just a couple bits of hose and a pump with attached filter. You run both hoses into the tank, turn on the pump, and let it run checking the filter periodically. You might need extra filters. Just let it run until the filter stays fairly clear. You can move it from tank to tank as needed and stow it when it's not needed. Great little bit of kit to have around diesel engines.
I would consider a centrifuge
Loved the surfing content. More interesting than picking up crew and shopping for supplies.

Awe Yoshi is just the best hey! Sucks about your strap.. wouldn't mind watching y'all catch some more waves though! Enjoy your times with boys.. I know he's definitely missing his girls.. me and my girls give the old man his super strength. Women give the men a different kind of security and power that make men just shine I think.. distance makes the heart grow fonder is 110% truth. Can't wait to see the rest of the trip and what the girls and guys are getting up to!

Hi guys, thanks for the video good to see is all getting on well together, I was in Fiji about seven years ago, and a friend of mine who is a surfer and we went to Cloudbreak he actually popped themself. And chickened out got a few little waves, but they were huge, but not as big as when they have the surfing competition Biggers light poles , from Australia
Should be a fun adventure with lots of laughs.

The first heavy seas in the Indian Ocean will be a test for this new crew.
Unlike what the media propaganda tells everyone, Hamburger are very good food. They are mostly beef meat with some cheese, made from milk, and vegetable plus sauce in some wheat bread, mayonnaise is made mostly from eggs & oil, the red sauce from tomato & spice. You can live a healthy life eating only this food for years. The importance is the meat, it contains everything a human body needs. Take the Eskimos or Inuit, as far as I know, in the winter month they only eat fish and meat for over six months yearly. Enjoy!

I have actually been trying to get a helmet for years for these types of waves! Not easily bought in Asia!
