Thank you for a really informative tour of Prima, you are such a respectful couple and a pleasure to watch. We sail on Prima this weekend so this was very helpful. I’m not really looking forward to it as I should be due to the numerous bad reviews, unfortunately not a great itinerary either, but it’s a treat from our son & daughter who have many happy cruising memories, they decided they wanted to try this new ship out. I’m just incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to spend some time together. Hubby got his tux out to pack but was very quickly reminded it’s an NCL ship, we’re packing nothing but smart casual, going to take this one nice and easy...🙂
Hi! Thank you so much for watching and for you kind words. Prima was our first experience with Norwegian and there were definitely things we liked and things we didn't as you saw in the video. I agree with many reviews that you do feel a bit "nickel and dimed" on Norwegian. However, it was overall a good experience. The show was top notch. You will have a wonderful time, especially sailing with family! Enjoy. I thing the food hall was my favorite thing on Prima- the options and concept are awesome- they just need to tweak a little i think AND ADD MORE SEATING! My husband and I use to pack much fancier clothes but as we have sailed more, we have tried to pull back to just smart casual as you said. Again, thanks for watching and commenting and seriously PLEASE come back and let me know how your cruise was and if anything has changed since we sailed. Any overall thoughts! @@wanderlustmelissabrian I certainly will let you know my honest opinion. We’ve been sailing with NCL on and off for about 16 years and have mostly loved our experience with them, it did used to better I’ll admit, but I think a lot of the problems now come from overcrowding. Just too many people in a small space. We live in the UK, 20 years ago cruising was nowhere near as popular or affordable as it is today, certainly seemed that way over here. NCL is a great cruise line for families, their ships do seem to cater for all budgets, thankfully our two children have always been very well behaved so we’ve been able to take them on “higher end” cruise lines too with no problems. We’ve loved them all, a cruise is what you make it. We’ve learnt a lot over the years, like you will have done. I don’t stress over the little things now, if the queue at the buffet is out of the door there’s usually 15 other places to go and eat. Cancelled ports, bad weather, failed excursions and delayed flights agh! It all adds to the excitement…🤣 So glad I found your channel, lovely to watch a video where the host is actually being informative and not shouting, so many people shout these days….or maybe I’m just getting old….🫣

@@vanessavalladares6409 Hi! Yes, most all the food in Indulge isincluded. There is a dessert counter that had "made to order" desserts that were an extra cost (but there was a grab and go kiosk with desserts that were included) and of course any alcoholic beverages were not included.
It was not open immediately when we boarded (we did board pretty early) but it wasn't long after, maybe 30 minutes or an hour at the most. I can't remember the exact time. -Melissa
