Trust Factor was working great in CSGO, but CS2 feels very similar to CSGO right before trust factor was introduced. In CSGO I could easily tell how my trust factor was low after not playing for 6+ months and how it went back to normal after 10-12 games. In CS2 I can’t even tell if there is a trust factor system.
Turning off Trust Factor makes sense for a newly released and hyped up game like CS2, if Trust Factor was available all new players would need to have a lower trust factor and would thus have a worse time which obviously wouldn't make them want to stick around.
I honestly feel like the population of real players has gone down. Everyone is either a case farmer or a cheater so the pop of real players is less than csgo. It takes me forever to find a game and often when I do it is spread from 14k to 20k elo (I'm solidly 19k). This shouldn't be possible if the population of the game was as healthy as they say it is.
Important to note that most of these trends you've highlighted are not limited to the 25K+ bracket, but also can be seen leaking into the 20-25K bracket. That includes the Scout being super high in the kill graph. This means that anyone in the 20K+ range is in the danger zone for being queued up with a cheater.

That used to be called trust factor, something that worked pretty good when csgo was around, now that system has been trashed and no longer exists lol, just like the MM ranks, valve just deleted it all for no reason
yeah it's almost like it might be better stacking 5 A. Some pro teams will unanchor B if they think that it's going to be A only. mirage seems lopsided with A being more popular over B. This is also the case with anubis, and perhaps vertigo, obviously dust2.
I knew there was something off about the USP. Sometimes I’m holding mid on dust 2 and the terrorists run out with glocks shooting from top mid insta headshot.
Don't forget that Anubis is the newest map in the pool, so Overpass IS the lowest played map if you scale it by the time it was out. I'm sure that in a couple of years Anubis will be more played than Mirage ;)

Also, I'm not sure where they get so much data from the cheaters from cus obviously the cheaters won't sign up for leetify. I guess this is only from legit players who encountered cheaters
@@nickawweasy, everyone that is signed up to leetify gets their demos pulled automatically. leetify can rate each player equally. as long as there is a single player with leetify in the server, it will be captured.
Grinded my way to 20k in solo queue and began to see hacker after hacker after hacker. No more premiere for me until they fix it, though I was and am immensely proud of being able to make it that high with so many cheaters.
I wish I had that kind of time on my hands. Younger me could have done that, but also younger me missed cs2. I swear I'll just take an insanely long leave from work just to play this game. I need to get good. I'm starting to just get all utility knowledge for all the maps. There's a lot.
im enjoying the game again. been playing and havent seen spinbotter case bots and cheaters. getting to end with 40-3 KDA again. happy with this mass bans and hammering chaeters. hope it continous
I mean... New italy rework is the most T sided crap i ever played in a hostage mode. So, only office is playable... Hope they just bring back the old maps already... Balanced or not
It's impossible to balance, the team with the best weapons is on the defense side. Also the team with the worse weapons need to reach the objective, get it, then reach the other side of the map, they basically have to fight for map control twice. Also the main cs mode is assassination (as_oilrig best map)
Filter by TTK, weapon used, and duration of match. If the match was ~10 minutes, TTK was like 0.1 seconds, and someone used the scout for that particular match, that's just a confirmed cheater, you don't even need to look at the demo at that point.
You have a hard time playing mirage because you’re playing B. Never play an anchor position in a pug. That just ends with you hoping the teammates playing the power positions don’t suck and we all know how that goes. Some loser is always willing to be the anchor, play connector or window, they are close to mid and A, allowing you to have the most individual impact.
Wdym? It's completely normal for a player to look at the ground, spin at a million miles per hour, bunnyhop perfectly everytime, shoot their entire magazine in one shot and kill everyone through walls with inhuman reactions and perfect flicks. That's like... completely impossible to detect. lol
Anubis is the 2nd most played map in pro play according to HLTV in 2024. Only ancient is played more Basically premier scrubs are too lazy to try and learn a new map
I really want to know what Valve is gonna do with the cheaters. Can’t even play late night anymore. Always a closet cheater that goes full rage after one of us have a good round. I guess they can’t fathom the thought of someone doing good and being legit. Fucking bots
I feel like I'm the only one who absolutely hates Dust II from a design perspective and just about every other game I play on that map, it's full of griefing tards trying to ruin your time.
Pretty much the same. Tried it recently after playing a lot of Nuke/Vertigo/Office/(anything that isn't Mirage or Dust 2) and it is painfully obvious that there is nothing to do without rifles of any kind. SMGs barely work, shotguns are utterly pointless unless you CT push lower and hope there will be 1-2 guys you can pick. Every place you fight from is open to like 3 or 4 angles at the same time, etc. And of course, the people, who queue Dust/Mirage... these maps should not be in Premier if you want to talk about competitiveness... they should stay in Matchmaking, where they have their separate rankings.
I hate mirage more (and most!!!) but i agree, d2 is indeed a crap map. The only reason i still somehow enjoy it is for the good old 1.6 days when we were playing it with 32 players until 4am...
Valve supporting HvH for 8 months is something to look up to. Imagine going to work for a billion dollar company and being okay that main product is not operable. And also bragging on twitter that it is the best game ever. The delusion.
@@varsik289 Yet Valve failed most miserably. Faceit had a field day while Valve was trying to invent a wheel. Also Valorant has a lot of effort put into detecting cheaters. Valve didn't integrate even half of tools to combat it.
@@artended Faceit has a monthly cost, far lower playerbase and thus active admins, and an intrusive anti cheat which Valve is against for obvious reasons. Faceit has a far easier time than Valve. I'm also not too sure why you're so against innovation, without it we would still be living in caves. If Valve's VACNet idea works, it could spell the beginning of the end of cheating as a whole without being intrusive, a far better solution than Vanguard. Also just as an aside, CS2 is *NOT* Valve's main product. Not even remotely close. Valve's main product is Steam, and increasingly hardware such as Steamdeck and Index. I would argue CS2 isn't even Valve's main game, I would say that honor goes to Dota 2, with CS2 following slightly behind. It's also fairly obvious that CS2 is a better game than CS:GO, it's just struggling with a cheating problem right now.
The game is a casino, no way a multi billion dollar company would let their game stay in that state for so long if they really cared. This is just a massive cash grab. Worst company fail of all time.
I mean, i use the scout to counter the cheaters, their reaction time is most of the times slower that me. Not always usefull, only on those bot cheaters.

you don't need a metric, just even jump into eu deathmatch and you will find min 1 cheater

Anubis will grow on you, used to hate it but now it's my favorite map. It is a difficult map to learn it took me a lot of matches.
