1:33:52 Love Cullen. She was 1st runner-up to Miss America and a prelim swimsuit winner. She wore this gown at Miss America. She certainly looked smashing in a red gown the previous year.
Thanks for uploading. I really enjoyed it. Cullen improved a lot between this one and Miss America. I felt her on-stage answer of one sentence was a bit brief but otherwise she was great.
yea I miss it, back when it was still considered a good thing to win a scholarship or beauty pagent that showed the whole lady that had some brains beauty and poise on the way to be miss america who most often is looked up to as a role model or and ideal young american lady and someone that stands for something more then just herself, Our Miss America, and before all the political nonsense and inclusion of men that think their women, at least miss america on the national is still holding the line for natural born ladies and has the talent portion, sure the swimsuite could be a point of contention but at least a gown talent of some sort and a good interview someoe with brains creativy and poise. and the carolinas and the virginias had many good talents especially in the ones that did traditional american music or dance in folk country or clogging and tap, and the more dynamic dance styles that drew from the more improvizational styles then today that is pure technique though looks cleaner, also I loved the shiney costuming it accented the performers back then and today, as well as when stuff they wore was still made here for the most part till just before pandemic.
