Suzanne Lawrence (Miss TX 90) and Jamie Story (Miss TX 04) stand out to me because neither one of these ladies made the Top 10 until the year they won. Subsequently both of them also competed for 4 years each before winning as well. (Suzanne - 87, 88, 89, and 90-Winner) (Jamie - 01, 02, 03, and 04-Winner).
