I had leather seats in my zafira tourer, fabric in the s max I drove, and the fabric seats were better, I’d also say the s max was slightly more spacious (tiny bit more wider), but the zafira tourer beats the s max by far when it comes to convenience, performance & overall layout

This Zafira has the same problem the Astra and Insignia from that period have. It drives nicely, is surprisingly refined and quiet, but also the interior feels like it was put together by children. It's the one thing that shows that it's a GM car. Materials are nice, but the way it's assembled isn't. Some of the cost cutting GM used is ridiculous. Almost nothing in the interior is screwed together, most parts are held with plastic press-in clips that get loose over time, things that should be glued (like the "chrome surrounds" around gauge clusters) are not, and are just loosely pressed in and squeak like all hell after some time. Opel's in that period were nice cars mechanically ruined by cost-cutting in terms of attention to detail.

Back in 2010 our insignia was perfect but by the time my dad is forced to change the particle filter each 200 km (very annoying) so we sold it in 2014. But i think it has a nice design (not speaking about plastic quality cuz i don't remember)
The latest model yes, they were plastic fantastic. We own the 2013 2.0 165hp. Best car ever. I only change tyres oil and thats it. And it has over 130k miles on the clock

No. Automatic is for handicapped people. Great drivers gets much better comfort and economy from a manual. ;)
