      @Krobra91 Год назад +11

      alot of cites are requring them. I moved into an HOA here in oregon. its not bad. Home owners on the board can change the rules, bt yes you always have people who break them. And theyll get fined and when they try to sell their homes, they will first need to settle the fines. HOA communities are well kept. And teaches how you to take care of your home. again all depends on the neighbors

    it’s a bad idea to buy a house or townhouse you cannot afford to live in alone. If you’re plotting to have a roommate before you even buy, it’s a place you cannot afford. I buy a house to get away from having to live with a stranger to make ends meet. It’s also time to revert to regarding a house as a place to LIVE, not an investment.

    My parents bought a two bedroom two bath condo for me when I went to ASU. I shared the master bedroom with two single beds and two dressers and the master bath had two sinks and plenty of closet space. The master bath also had a separate room for the shower and toilet, which is nice if you have to share a room with someone. The second bedroom I got a lot more rent for because they had their own room with her own bathroom. Everything was furnished so I got top rent. Our mortgage was only $150 a month and we share the phone and electric bill three ways. I felt spoiled in spite of having to share a room. But we had a community pool, and we were just down the street from the University. I felt very lucky and took care of the condo. Of course they sold it then and got their money back and they had the right off for it notice I did not take the single bedroom. This save my parents a lot of money.

No private outside space. Outside is completely unlandscaped. Not even any grass, so that will all turn to sticky red clay mud in the rain. Think of the muddy dog prints all over everything! Exactly he got that right when he said this can cause a problem big mistake buying this girl a house I don’t care what the reasons are let her stay home and save up like I did when I got married I had $35,000 saved to to put towards down a down payment. We ended up getting the cutest tiniest little to the house that we loved and stayed in for nine years till we could afford our much bigger five bedroom house 10 years later it was all worth the sacrifice buying a kid a house is not helping the kid for the future. You’re actually enabling her and as for roommates yuck. Are you kidding me? That’s a big problem right there my daughter decided to get a roommate in college, and the girl literally turned her into her slave we were unaware of it so much for roommates never ever ever again. As for the apartment fees, they are a complete racket they don’t even do what they say they’re going to do all you do is call and bitch and wait for them to come around and do what you paid for to no avail I have never heard of a person having a good experience with a space that comes with one of those apartment fees. The father reminds me of my good hearted very overly generous husband don’t be silly. Dad don’t fall for this, don’t buy the daughter the silly house she should earn it or buy one when she finally settles down just because you’re able to doesn’t mean you should just in my humble opinion.

      Your opinion doesn't sound that humble to me but hey that's just my humble opinion, lol. Seriously though I guess you missed the part where this is the Dad's apartment and she is renting it from him paying $1,400 a month plus a security deposit and late fees if she's late. 1400 a month on the high end for that area. She's not being given anything. Dad bought it as an investment and daughter is renting it out paying fair market value in rent.

    This is the worst episode ever! Why on earth would she get a place for over $100,000.00 with no washer and dryer in that ugly loft? A dumb investment and waste of money!
