I honestly think the soundtrack is the main reason I revisit this game. Sure, it's nostalgic and has some great moments, but the camera, pacing, and animation are all over the place. The soundtrack is consistently good, and never bores me.
I don't typically get too upset about frame rates or any of that fancy crap but SA was a game that really need to be at 60 fps. It was hard to play it on DC after playing SA2 first. It's a bit rough around the edges and fuck those treasure hunting stages but I respect what Sonic Team was trying to achieve. When you see that and SA2 and then see the mixed record the series has had in 3D since it's a shame.
I've pretty much been out of the loop with the _Sonic_ franchise for about 20 years, but I've always loved _Sonic Adventure_ , camera issues, bad English dub, and playing as Big the Cat withstanding. With that said, this YM2612-style remix/cover of yours of the Station Square BGM sounds phenomenal to me. Keep up the good work.
I don't know why but this kinda sounds like the first level in a Sonic game. :3 Imagine a Sonic 2D game that didn't start in a level like Green Hill but a city.

Okay hear me out: Imagine the newer Sonic games de-mastered for older consoles. Imagine games like Adventure and Adventure 2 or Unleashed, but as 2D 16-bit games made for the Genesis
I still can't decide whether Adventure or Unleashed has the better soundtrack. Both are incredibly varied, adventurous and easy to listen to from beginning to end (imo). Wish they rereleased either soundtracks physically.
