1:12 Hyundai i20 WRC rally car slides and drives onto the grass, 3:43 passing a Ford Fiesta R2 rally car stopped in the first pass through this stage earlier, 6:01 small jump, 9:45 normal traffic on the highway next to the rally stage, 11:19 long fast straight flat out maximum attack by Thierry Neuville.
@@curry4life10 yeah, but thankfully they fixed it in 2016, you can see much clearer in the forest sections there is an onboard of same stage by eric camilli
Brakes on asphalt heat up very quickly, if you brake hard all the time you'll heat up your brakes too much and you'll result in a loss of braking power. Overall they're human and fear is what makes them brake sometimes a bit early, considering the fact they can not know every default on the road that can make them lose traction at a moment comparing to track racing in which you know how the car will behave at that one corner etc... So in rally you are basically all the time wondering if the reward > risk, if not, don't do it.
Am I the only one who finds Rallye Deutschland extremely boring? Rally cars going at 60 km/h in an endless artificial maze of 90 degree junctions and hairpins. No flow, no rhythm, no speed. Just junction after junction after junction. It's basically a full event of Mickey Mouse stages. Panzerplatte is a cool stage, but the rest is the most boring and soulless event on the calendar in my opinion. Yet everyone seems to love it. I don't get it. How I miss Corsica and Sanremo...
If you hate rally cars going slow and hairpins and such, then how could you miss Corsica and San Remo? Corsica had endless hairpins, and San Remo is one of the slowest tarmac rallies. Rally Germany is one of the fastest asphalt experiences in the WRC

The only problem with the video is that someone kept turning off the lights in the forest sections :D
Wow probably the best onboard I've seen in a long time! Absolutely incredible!
neuville is a beast. if he learn that not everytime you have to push yourself to the limit, he's a future world champion.
Let's hope so
He is now.
9:48 is quite epic if you start thinking how the "ordinary" driver on the asphalt road would think when seeing a rally driver on a mission.
taufiqutomo i would really be inspired if I was on that motorway!
Wow, what a beautiful stage! I dind't see a stage with so much vegetation like this even in videogames.
MGOFor3ver wtf some of that is pitch black
Welcome to Europe ;)
@@justahyundai at that time the cameras didnt focus to the other oncoming light so it shows alot less light than what was actually there lol
I know this is for free and I'm not in a position to demand sth but it would be great to see the speed indicator, like erc has this longtime..
Codemasters, add this stage to Dirt Rally.
WRC - Thanks for making the video without cameraangles showing the drivers, great immersion!
Amazing stage, amazing driving
Amazing run! Very skilled and focused driver.
11:31 omg he opens NOS like in Need for Speed game! amazing driver
His co driver must drink like a gallon of water after this lol. As usual, excellent driving, and what a beautiful course!
1:16 :D lucky moment

Virtueel
why is the onboard without brightness auto-adjust? Back in 2002 the onboards were already pretty neat, can't justify that one...
Fake
i was there!
Selamat sukses terus buat hiundai. Dan panjang umur sehat selalu buat joki hiundai vis.....
Precioso rally
Keep uploading some onboards to RUclips..!!
Wvl
Good job. Almost as good as me. Keep up the good work boys. You're walking on my paths to the world title
Hahaha
Cool
Dat sound
这个赛道有点意思啊!
Do drivers use some sort of special glasses to be able to see the road on those super dark places?
I guess its the cam that is dark, not the stage
The human eye is much more efficient at catching light than any camera available to the public.
That camera has a very poor auto ISO algorithm and maybe even a poor image sensor.

1:01 what???
Yeah it's dark
crazy !
is it just me or is he braking kind of a bit early?
He had a comfortable lead, he just wanted to bring the car to the finish with no problems.
Hejhopp1337 good observation the kid likes to play it safe

Fuh...the best
That sounds not like the car from ville
This AD is painful to watch.

As a German: Thought the same
And they prefer to remove the stages of Monaco rally in the Vercors ...
You'll have to post the timecode for the 60kph section... I must have missed it?!
I would agree with you, but I didn't see any evidence of what you said in this video.
