So with Liam D uploading all of episodes # 6 & 7, Emma getting cut at the end of episode five is the only thing not available on youtube.

From watching the reunion, the girls explained that they had edited a lot of the arguments in, and from watching that part I think that was an example of it, cause you're right it seems really odd!

If you watch "seth deconstructs legally blonde" he does it for each episode and he shows how autumn said the same thing in a car earlier about not going home lol. So they definitely edit these in very cleverly and take it out of context....it looks so real....i know lol

That store was not nice.....super drunk hair stylist that apparently cut into hair without looking, bleaching and coloring done in ways that totally destroyed hair, etc.. Autumn needed a blong wig later on the show to cober up that her hair had started to break off in chunks.
Rhiannon's hair actually looked good! She said hers was the easiest to work with. Blonde does not suit Autumn and Natalie! Way too blonde. I liked Autumn's cut though. I think the girls said Natalie's was bleached with not needing to be. Crazy.

Autumn was overreacting about Rhiannon saying, "I'm not going home today." You can clearly tell by her tone that she was saying it for manifestation, and to not allow negative thoughts into her head, not to say "I'm not going home today but someone else should."
I really like Autumn and yet I think she was wrong to call that out. Another thing that bugs me is that everybody loved Emma (particularly the younger girls), and Emma turned around and trash-talked them when she was cut (She called them 'little girls'--She may have been speaking from a place where her feelings were hurt but the tone didn't seem nice). No one has ever commented about that in the group.

@Katherine Howard "blossom animations" means that they edited the clip of the proshot that they showed here. you clearly can tell that half of the video is the proshot (LBB) and the other half is this guy Andy in another place (Andy actually plays other three roles in the show, for example the mail guy that Paulette falls in love with, but never Emmet). Christian Borle is the obc emmet and he is the one playing the part in the proshot
Well also when they met Laura Bell she said she had to go and perform soo that means that Christian would be performing too and would want a break after doing the show and he probably has more important things going on then going in a date with a girl that might not be your future costar.

this ! I've bleached mine intentionally but would never force someone to do it, knowing what I've been through (hair breaking out, fall off, going yellow, split ends, etc)
This is show biz, I mean the film industry made Renee Zellweger eat to get up to a UK size 12/14 or summit like that for Bruget Jones diary, she had to put on weight, for her to then go down to her very slim size after filming, Brad Pitt had to put on muscle mass for his role in Troy. It's all crazy in this industry

Would not have looked good on tv, the hairdresser being super drunk, cutting without looking, them bleaching and dyeing Autumns hair way too many times, and such.

One story they shared is that he at one point had his tools and autumns hair in his hands and was distracted and just made a huge cut. I’m so sad that Emma went home, her acting the judges were very impressed with her acting as were I and her acting and dancing were good enough to stay, at least longer. I could definitely see her as Elle Woods.
Although I loved Bailey in the Broadway performance and think she's fantastic....this scene wasn't her best audition in my opinion....I think she took a different perspective during the scene and made it more like she was happy to make this choice to leave back to LA....but I think she needed to show more of that mixed emotion of being sad too like the other girls did....and when she held the last note....blonde....it was a bit nasal sounding. Not her best scene like they said. But she's definitely amazing overall.

They said in the oral history that it was actually that Lauren just looked and came across way too young - and that her performing with Richard was uncomfortable because she looked like his daughter. Which fair, she was 18! She’s doing great now, awesome career!
I think each of the girls has their own talents, and they all need to work on some things. I do think Rhiannon’s voice just wasn’t Broadway ready, but they should’ve worked with her on that more if they they thought it was a problem from the beginning. Also yes Bailey’s performance here could’ve been more sincere and dramatic, but she worked on it a lot and you can see more of her emotions in the LBTM bootlegs where she played Elle.
@@xx-diamondkatz-xx5374 She's fine. Like a few of the older & more successful girls (Celina, for one) Emma had already been on Broadway in a few shows before this TV show. Now, Emma is a Soul Cycle instructor; she's in great shape & her classes are extremely popular. Emma's dad is the actor/director Jerry Zaks, so she's financially very secure. I'm sure Emma would have been great as Elle if she'd won, but replacing LBB wasn't exactly a star-making move. The musical closed 3 months after Bailey took over, because with her as the lead they couldn't sell enough tickets to make staying open worth it. I'm pretty sure Emma is very happy to be in NYC living her life (just like I'm sure Bailey Hanks is very happy she's happy to be back in her hometown, married to a great guy & being a wife & mom (& hair-stylist - ironic that she's the one they showed crying after a haircut bc now she knows what it's like to be on the other end of the scissors). Natalie has also been working steadily, mostly on television.

I saw Hedwig *many* times, esp after NPH left: I saw Lena play Yitzhak opposite each of the first 5 actors who played Hedwig: Michael C Hall, Andrew Rannells, John Cameron Mitchell & Darren Criss. And Lena also played Yitzhak on tour opposite Darren Criss, plus she played Hedwig in a few performances on tour in California.
At the first time i watch this series, I really hope to see Christian Borle. Andy is great, but i still more enjoying to see him as Kyle. Maybe it's more because of my OG cast bias anyway. I mean he's incredibly hot, but you know what i mean..
In my opinion, Natalie and Lauren were the only ones who were genuinely triple threats. Rhiannon and Bailey could dance but couldn't sing. Autumn could sing but wasn't much of a dancer. And Lauren was just too young. Natalie's always been the best, and the least problematic. She should have won.
I agree with you I loved Lauren, Natalie was the same age as Lindsey but the girls who were older were less prone to drama. Rhiannon her singing wasn’t the best, it’s probably changed since 2008. Autumn you’re right good singer dancing wasn’t the best. Bailey I think she won because the winner was picked from the producers before they began filming, like America’s next top model set from the start. Like it was said if Bailey didn’t look how she did she would’ve been cut before Celina.

I remember seeing this whole series when the episodes aired and falling in love with Andy Karl. As much as I love rewatching these episodes over the years, I've just wanted this episode for Andy Karl content.
This audition I think was the hardest one for Bailey considering her own hardships that reflected the song perfectly. They might not have shown much during the title song but I could feel them when she elaborated afterwards

Singing wise I think Autumn and Natalie did the best....acting wise rhiannon was the best on this scene....Autumn as well was decent acting wise here. Bailey didnt do so great singing or acting wise in this scene. Lauren was too closed off in her body language. Her voice is good but a bit low on pitch for an elle voice.
I want those judges to go and sing and dance and act for HOURS and HOURS a day and go live with a bunch of people who they're competing against. Seems like a lot of work doesn't it?! I think all of the girls were equally talented and they would've got further even without this competition *(other than Paul ofc)*
I honestly think Lauren or EMMA should have won! Bailey is great, but I just feel like they both had more presence and colors of their own, they made Elle their own. Bailey was just like a carbon copy of LBB. She’s great, just really didn’t make Elle her own

Although I loved Bailey in the Broadway performance and think she's fantastic....this scene wasn't her best audition in my opinion....I think she took a different perspective during the scene and made it more like she was happy to make this choice to leave back to LA....but I think she needed to show more of that mixed emotion of being sad too like the other girls did....and when she held the last note....blonde....it was a bit nasal sounding. Not her best scene like they said. But she's definitely amazing overall.

I think each of the girls has their own talents, and they all need to work on some things. I do think Rhiannon’s voice just wasn’t Broadway ready, but they should’ve worked with her on that more if they they thought it was a problem from the beginning. Also yes Bailey’s performance here could’ve been more sincere and dramatic, but she worked on it a lot and you can see more of her emotions in the LBTM bootlegs where she played Elle.
I think emma should have won, she quit smoking just for the show, got sick, and kept on going. if that doesn't show dedication, i don't know what is.
Directors don’t care about your backstory, neither reasoning. They care about what you show them there and then. Show business is tough. No sympathy.

@@xx-diamondkatz-xx5374 She's fine. Like a few of the older & more successful girls (Celina, for one) Emma had already been on Broadway in a few shows before this TV show.
Now, Emma is a Soul Cycle instructor; she's in great shape & her classes are extremely popular. Emma's dad is the actor/director Jerry Zaks, so she's financially very secure. I'm sure Emma would have been great as Elle if she'd won, but replacing LBB wasn't exactly a star-making move. The musical closed 3 months after Bailey took over, because with her as the lead they couldn't sell enough tickets to make staying open worth it.
I'm pretty sure Emma is very happy to be in NYC living her life (just like I'm sure Bailey Hanks is very happy she's happy to be back in her hometown, married to a great guy & being a wife & mom (& hair-stylist - ironic that she's the one they showed crying after a haircut bc now she knows what it's like to be on the other end of the scissors).
Natalie has also been working steadily, mostly on television.

I saw Hedwig *many* times, esp after NPH left: I saw Lena play Yitzhak opposite each of the first 5 actors who played Hedwig: Michael C Hall, Andrew Rannells, John Cameron Mitchell & Darren Criss.
And Lena also played Yitzhak on tour opposite Darren Criss, plus she played Hedwig in a few performances on tour in California.
At the first time i watch this series, I really hope to see Christian Borle. Andy is great, but i still more enjoying to see him as Kyle. Maybe it's more because of my OG cast bias anyway. I mean he's incredibly hot, but you know what i mean..

In my opinion, Natalie and Lauren were the only ones who were genuinely triple threats. Rhiannon and Bailey could dance but couldn't sing. Autumn could sing but wasn't much of a dancer. And Lauren was just too young. Natalie's always been the best, and the least problematic. She should have won.
I agree with you I loved Lauren, Natalie was the same age as Lindsey but the girls who were older were less prone to drama. Rhiannon her singing wasn’t the best, it’s probably changed since 2008. Autumn you’re right good singer dancing wasn’t the best. Bailey I think she won because the winner was picked from the producers before they began filming, like America’s next top model set from the start. Like it was said if Bailey didn’t look how she did she would’ve been cut before Celina.
I really enjoyed autumn in this series. Hard to believe she’s 40 now?!? I still love watching her to this day!

Personality wise, being a bit like Elle and not judge others and not taking things to heart is a great thing, and I'll try and think like this
I remember seeing this whole series when the episodes aired and falling in love with Andy Karl. As much as I love rewatching these episodes over the years, I've just wanted this episode for Andy Karl content.
I haven't seen the rest of the episodes, but I don't think that any one of these girls deserve the role other than Autumn. She should win for sure.

This audition I think was the hardest one for Bailey considering her own hardships that reflected the song perfectly. They might not have shown much during the title song but I could feel them when she elaborated afterwards

Singing wise I think Autumn and Natalie did the best....acting wise rhiannon was the best on this scene....Autumn as well was decent acting wise here. Bailey didnt do so great singing or acting wise in this scene. Lauren was too closed off in her body language. Her voice is good but a bit low on pitch for an elle voice.
I want those judges to go and sing and dance and act for HOURS and HOURS a day and go live with a bunch of people who they're competing against.
Seems like a lot of work doesn't it?!
I think all of the girls were equally talented and they would've got further even without this competition

I honestly think Lauren or EMMA should have won! Bailey is great, but I just feel like they both had more presence and colors of their own, they made Elle their own. Bailey was just like a carbon copy of LBB. She’s great, just really didn’t make Elle her own

I can see why Bailey was so upset when her hair was changed, some girls are just very attacked to their hair, and Bailey just needed to get used to the change.
yes i was thinking this !! i saw other people’s comments being like ‘it’s just hair she’s being so dramatic’ but my long hair is like my safety net and femininity, especially when i’m feeling insecure and i can totally get why she’d be feeling overwhelmed with the change, especially if she wasn’t used to having her hair cut
