✨ ABOUT ME
My name is Duncan and I am a Maths Graduate in Scotland with a passion for maths and relaxation! I am an ASMR RUclipsr and plan to go on to teach maths at high school level in the coming years. I am very enthusiastic about teaching and to help me improve and get practice before entering the world of work I have created this channel to help people learn about mathematics at all levels all whilst having a good night's sleep.

You should do a series where you start with first grade level math and go to the next grade each video.
Me: No clue what is going on but just relaxing
😂
Basic math dude haha
@@leocioffi7032Not basic but yeah
Hey Duncan! Huge fan of your main channel (since like 7k) and where this channel is heading. As a maths enthusiast it’s just the perfect combo! Just one suggestion, if you could enable dark mode on your iPad to have a black or dark grey background and a white/colourful writing colour it would make it much more relaxing visually in my opinion. Love the content so far keep it up!
That’s a great idea! I’ll try work this out 😊
@@ASMRMaths yeah and you don’t even have to mess around with the application. on ipad u can turn on accessibility settings and have a classic invert which will just make every white background black ! great video as always ❤❤❤
It'd be cool to see you do these on paper to hear those types of sounds as well
The money he just spend on a new iPad 🧍♂️(but yes I also agree I prefer writing on paper)
There is a screen protector called paperlike which makes it seem as if you are writing on paper whilst using the apple pencil.
I’ll definitely try to mix and match every so often! Still getting used to writing on an iPad though so we’ll see how things go 😅
@@harryhopkinson162 ooh this sounds interesting - I’ll look into it!
@@ASMRMathsHey, - ×- = + right? Then why did you write -2X?
“Nice and easy”
Me not having any clue what the heck he’s doing
I'm so excited about this new channel! It's an amazing idea and very relaxing! :D
Such a nice idea and video, loved every part of it!!
Omg you are a god sent. I think I watched through all of the Math ASMR on RUclips. So excited for your new channel
Big fan dido wanted to say that I don’t expect you to be a pro with the iPad when you’ve just got it so don’t feel pressured. I think your content is really nice so thanks.
This is not only relaxing but actually also really helpful haha
I’m glad you think so!!
Great video!! Really helpful
Do a video on analitic geometry, I'm studying that in school and it would be really helpful and fun if you make a video on that subject:)
Really appreciate this! EE, graduated a year and a half ago, so this was a nice buffer for me, getting me to do problems like this in my head again
Can’t even describe how shite I am at maths but I love your maths videos haha
never thought a traumatizing subject would be relaxing my ears one day!😄
Hope this channel gets big 😀
Oh boy! This will be good, if I ever need to do this kind of maths.
Your voice is so relaxing 😩🤚🏼
hi Dido, I had a really good idea for this new channel, every video or so you add something small around the iPad maths related and slowly build up a cool setup!
That’s a great idea! I was not too happy with how the setting of this turned out whilst editing so I’ll be sure to experiment with more things
This is actually great timing. I’ve just started differentiation in my a level maths in the last week or so. Tomorrow we are going to do the second derivative I think my teacher said but honestly I’m so tired I can’t remember.
Best of luck!
Perfect for my A Level maths
Nah this is AS/ GCSE further maths
@@bluecar7719derivatives and differentiation are a big part of calc
“Calculus” is a super tingly word!
Bro it isn’t man bro nah man it’s not bro are you that even du-
Could you do a video on Linear Algebra in the future? I think it's super interesting!
It's help a lot, thanks dido
hi dido! loved the video. One thing i would reccomend is a tiny bit of teaching, i didnt really understand all the answers. Im not learning this rn at school, but it would be cool to widen my knowledge a little. Thanks!
You’re an absolute legend for this channel!
As an engineering student I really love this kind of content, I know it might be for a more “niche audience” but please, keep doing it
Oh boy... Was just checking your maths channel and hoped onto this video just seconds after you posted it! gonna watch now ;)
omg this video taught me so much more than my prof😭
Amazing first video. But I have a question I am having trouble in surface area can you make a video about it.Thanks❤
Wooo one of my favourite topics at A-Level
I'm actually writing a differentiation exam in two days, so this might be helpful 😂
It’d be cool to see you use the paperlike screen protector
Hey Dido! Doing my GCSE this year and struggling a bit with maths and all other subjects. Any advice? I struggle to revise a lot.
A big tip I wish I followed was to study a bit of maths every single day, if you do that, the chances of you forgetting are low. Even 30 minutes on each topic a day makes a huge difference
Good notes its a Good App for this project
Can you do synthetic division
You should defo do a vid on trinomials
I suggest increasing the volume of the tapping sound your pen makes to the screen. Would take the tingles to the next level
what did you do to the -6 at 7:19? Did you forget? Isn't it supposed to be:
24x - 3 + 24 - 6
24x + 24 - 9
24x + 15
f(x) = 3(4x + 5)
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
@terminator101xxxx thanks
Somehow BS’d my way to a 47/50 on my third calc midterm, now I feel like a genius even though there’s no way I feel like I got above a 30. Hoping my bs can help me again on the final tomorrow 🔥
I think if you did a high level math video like stokes theorem it could be cool 🙂
@Goofy animal not rlly haha, I'm in my first year of a level maths in the UK and this was one of the first things we learnt
Could you do a video on factoring?
Hey Dido, I was wondering if you could make a video on decimal place e.g like change to 3 decimal places 3.18792
Do you do that at uni? In my first year of physics I was expected to know it already
How about a simple whispered methods of integration tutorial?
Can you do some gcse/o level maths?
Could you do some maths video about 10th grade
For 1e couldn't you have divided each term by x^2 rather than using that formula?
Anyway great video as always!
囁き声が良すぎる、、
dido, i’ve got a math exam coming up over grade 10 trigonometry, could you give me some help by chance??
You should do any 7th grade math idc that iswhat grade I’m in
Mega confusion. I have an algebra 1 test tomorrow and some of the problems ask about f(x) if x = (for example) 3+2x and it’s so confusing. Im so gonna fail
Think about it this way. Using f(x) for example, “f” just means that it’s a function, and the (x) is the input into that function. To give you a basic example, we have f(z) = 3z + 4 where z = 2. We see that the input to the function, (z) is equal to 2. Therefore, we substitute 2 into the function process (the part after the equals sign, aka 3z +4) and we get: 3(2) + 4. Simplify, and we get 10. Simple. I hope this helped.
@@bruhbruhbruhbruh8396 I passed!!! Thank you so much. This video helped me understand a little bit but your comment helped tons. Ended up getting an 87/100, which for me is crazy good. Thank you sir!
@@RUclipsThunderr No problem, glad to help. Good job on the exam, and if you need any math help in the future feel free to @ me.
@@bruhbruhbruhbruh8396 I’ll be sure to, thank you so much again my friend!

Can you help me with areas
Hi Dido use one note its better
Like this type of asmr but honestly the handwriting could be better)
😂😂
I know! I apologise. I generally have quite neat handwriting on paper if I do say so myself but I’m still getting used to using the iPad and pencil. I’ll get practicing and try to improve it for the next one 😊
