Understand then you recognize😮 the best rock n roll band ever and still doing it, these guys are in their early to mid eighties and are better than 100% of bands in 2024…..WoW
Oh my gosh, watching this video brings a lot of memories back! When young, I recall when this song came out. Friends and I loved the stones but hated anything "modern". They were "too old" at the time for us to even go see them in concert (only band I've never seen out of hundreds) which like a few others, I really regret today. We made fun of this song in particular and had made up different lyrics to make it sillier. Listening to this now after a 4 decades or so lmao, I really like this song now and had to listen to it 3 times. It is stunning they're still performing and am thinking of going to one of their shows, no matter what the cost of airfare, hotel, and ticket. It just hurts to hand over two months of house payments to see them.
I went to this concert in Tokyo and that was the FIRST concert of the Rolling Stones in Japan and the LAST concert of the Stones with Bill Wyman. I and my friends stayed in the line through the night of the cold winter in front of the ticket agency. The concert was absolutely amazing. I will never forget until the day I die. I went to their concerts several times in the following years, but I was missing something. After Bill left the band, they sounded different and that was not the taste I loved. (I totally agree with Bob Dylan's comment about the Stones without Bill.) And Charlie passed away. I am not going to their concerts without Bill and Charlie.
I'm 34 years old and this was the first song I heard from the Stones. I was just a child. From there began my romance with them that lasts to this day.
I think that is great, I would love to see. Them I'm concert some day I grew up in new York. Up state and was to high an drunkl to apereach at them.but now I am sober.2 years
@@dennisbailey7160 I'll be 63 years old this month and have rocked and rolled with The Stones for a lifetime. I first saw them perform live on the old _Ed Sullivan Show_ in 1964 on black-and-white TV when they performed "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" after it was first released. The Stones came to America on the heels of The Beatles' success and at the beginning of what came to be known as The British Invasion. It was immediately apparent that The Stones' music had a radically different spirit than The Beatles' and that was very much by design of their manager Andrew Oldham. It's surreal that they're still rolling after all of these decades albeit with only Mick and Keith as original members left. The Stones' career has taken so many twists and turns musically and otherwise. But Charlie's passing may well mark the end of the band in any practical sense. Such is life. It's been a great career considering that 6 guys (including Ian Stewart at the beginning) envisioned as a glorified, white British blues club scene cover band with the guts to take a huge risk true to their conviction would aspire so highly and come so far. That's only possible when you love what you're doing. Thank you.
31 years ago, I went to watch the live this day. It was my first time rolling stones. It's a wonderful memory. It's sad that I can't see Charlie anymore. R.I.P

Great song, not heard as often as it should be! I had no idea Mick played guitar. And it looks like he is really getting major riffs outta that thang! Wow! Superb!
I've never been a big fan of Mick's live singing, studio, yes, but live, no. He does seem to sing much better with a guitar in his hands. When he's not running around the stage he sings much better.
Because this song is not that great, and they know it! Or in other words, when they choose their songs for a concert, that one is certainly not prioritary.
@@lust4bass Not at all, it's a song that Keith is especially proud of. The reason it's not played more is because it's got a lot of complex harmonies that are difficult to capture properly night in and night out on tour. It's a great song, but it's tough to perform well live. They sure knocked it out of the park on this performance though, wot?
Their best track. Simple, in the pocket and insanely effective
Amazing Song!!
Mick Jagger……ROCK LEGEND!!
FANTASTIC VOICE!😮😊
Bill Wyman...I can hear him here ...and when ever he is audible he lifts the whole band.
I absolutely love this great song, and Joshua can play like nobody's business. The sax and the Stones are a marriage made in the best part of heaven.

This is the best rendition of this song they ever done .
Charlie Watts was a great drummer vastly underrated and super cool too

"Mixed Emotions"
Button your lip, baby
Button your coat
Let's go out dancing
Go for the throat
Let's bury the hatchet
Wipe out the past
Make love together
Stay on the path
You're not the only one
With mixed emotions
You're not the only ship
Adrift on this ocean
This coming and going
Is driving me nuts
This to-ing and fro-ing
Is hurting my guts
So get off the fence now
You're creasing your butt
Life is a party
Let's get out and strut, yeah
You're not the only one
With mixed emotions
You're not the only ship
Adrift on this ocean
You're not the only one
That's feeling lonesome
You're not the only one
With mixed emotions
You're not the only one
You're not the only one
Let's grab the world
By the scruff of the neck
And drink it down deeply
And love it to death
So button your lip, baby
Button your coat
Let's go out dancing
Let's rock-and-roll
You're not the only one
With mixed emotions
You're not the only ship

Best video I liked and I watched them all, stoned all my life. Good find.
rolling stones forever
Best song they ever did in my opinion !
@@daniel_2024-5 Top 50 for sure;I would say on mylist
Sounds awesome... not like today where the computer accounts for the majority of the sound. True raw talent. 💯
Thanks for mentioning that! No computers involved; just real music!
Mick Jagger said of this song that it was hard to pull off live, because of the hard verse and melodic chorus. I don't hear a problem.
sin duda la banda de rock mas grande
I love this song 🎸🎸
this band sounds promising. they should release a record!
