Reed, thank you for doing what you do and just being you. I grew up with this urge to understand powerful storms. I grew up wanting to see the storms and be in them. I use to stand in front of the TV as a kid and pretend I was a weatherman. (My parents would literally have to pick me up from outside when storms came because I didn't want to go in and stop watching them) While I may never have the chance to do what you do, seeing it through your eyes and feeling it through your passion is unreal and it is a gift to be able to watch these awesome videos you put up. Maybe one day our paths will cross. I live in Alabama, and as you know, we have some very crazy and intense storms when all the ingredients are there. Never stop chasing my friend. Much love and respect!
Hey Reed. You are a legend of storm chasing - those inflow winds were savage - take care and dont take crazy risks. Thanks for your amazing work. Keep dominating!
@@cobrasvt347 that's really cool! Thanks for keeping people safe. I am setting my goals to be a meteorologist and storm spotter when I am am old enough!
Reed, I'm glad to see this video coverage the true power of different types of tornadoes and especially where the tornado destroyed the mountainside taking up the huge trees by The Roots because where I live in southern West Virginia, there's way too many people that really thinks that tornadoes can't happen here throughout our rolling Hill terrain and I've never believed any of that because West Virginia still has the 15th most destructive and deadly tornado on record from 1944,, it was a F4 that demolished shinnston West Virginia, that's located in the north central part of the state and shenston is an extremely small community but that tornado back then claimed nearly 200 lives and traveled a path of 50 to 60 miles before dissipating... The way tornadoes are starting to form much further east over the past few years, I think it's just a short matter of time before the WV and VA areas starts seeing more of them
That double rainbow you caught was fabulous! PS - so is all the other footage. Some of those super cells blew me away! PPS - Your vehicle repair bill must be huge.
I’m not the weather savvy person. I grew up in Nebraska and wanna know, does hail always precede a tornado? What’s the reason for hail? Like, what causes it? Maybe that’s a stupid question but I’m curious.
You seriously need some type of plexiglass for a windshield or something that you can attach to it so the hail don't break it. Thank you for your bravery & risking your lives chasing these storms to keep people safe. Your all are true heroes. Much 💕 respect & prayers🙏 for all your future storm chasing. 💕💕💕💕 seeing your precious fur baby 🐕 Gizmo in the videos. He is so adorable!!!
Reed to me you can be a very crazy person, when you said there was no road to get to that tornado in the field,I am shocked that you didn't make a road!
40:48 SWEET! montana.... my home state! im waiting for a storm a little closer to glasgow MT..... 15 miles from where i live . seeing all the storms in the south makes me want ~August to get here sooner thats about when peak MT storm season is..... but june and july can make some nice ones also
oh, and i wish you could have seen the MASSIVE derecho that went right down highway 2.... hit glasgow and wolf point and kept going i drove from wolf point back to glasgow in that storm..... after work . so pretty.... and quite fun, no hail, not much rain.... and the winds wernt THAT bad . iirc that storm went into ND and did some damage
I wish you could help make a new law that any house destroyed by a tornado or a new house in the path of these horrible tornadoes mandatory must have a storm cellar built-in that’s my wish my friend

Dominator "Fore" because it was hit by Golfball size hail or because it now resembles a Golfball?
What would you say that "weird thing again" is? And why roll the window down; pressure changes? HS Science teacher here.
I think you'd be an ideal candidate for a Safelite endorsement considering Spring is here.

Reed, there is no such place as "Spearman" SD. You must mean Spearfish, SD. I recommend that you update the text at approximately the 15:00 mark.
