Absolutely , I'm 66 years old my swing speed has lowered down to just over 100 mph, I just received the vanquish 40 gram stiff I ordered, I tipped it 1 inch @ 44 inches on my Cobra LTD -LS, It's a unicorn, high launch and low spin and picked up little over 4 mph on my swing !!! , keep the good content coming 🏌🏌🏌🏌

66 and swinging over 100 mph is impressive.

You're so right about changing your swing to fit the shaft profile. Happened to me because the shaft matched my driver head lol

I've been testing shafts in the off season. I just fancied doing the work on my own rather than a fitting, as I wanted to test over time rather than in a few hours in a fitting bay. My clubhead speed with driver is usually 90mph (+- 5 mph) so im not particularly long (230 yds) and had been erratic off the tee last season. Vanquish, Graphite Design Tour AD TP, Diamana TB, Motore F3, Riptide and Riptide MX have been head to head in my Paradym X head. I tend to go lighter as ive tested heavier shafts and see a drop off in clubhead speed, also like to feel where the clubhead is in my swing. There is definitely a difference in the aftermarket shafts and my gamer will either be Vanquish or Graphite Design. Ive seen a +15yd difference in total distance on average with better control.

So for me a 67 gram regular is better than a 57 gram stiff because if I can't feel the shaft im all over the place, weight is more important, maybe? Like watching keep up the good work.

Just ordered a AD-VF 6x to try in my driver, my swing speed isn't as high as last year, but hopefully be doing some speed training once my swing is dialed in
Might be the wrong way to do it, but we'll see!

If you don't like it, it'll be easy to unload used. Hahahaha thank Eldrick Woods

Put Autoflex into my SIM and it's been hilarious. Nearly 10mph gain in ball speed and no sacrifice in dispersion. Unreal

2023 was my worst golf year ever. But it's a reason, 2021-2022 I didn't play at all because I was living in another country, so it's obvious. Shafts, brands, is not much. Practice and playing is 99% of your results

So 1x per month won't cut it?? Lol, jk. You are spot on. When I was at the range 3 x per week and playing once per week, i was shooting in the low 90s upper 80s.....now, if i get out once a month and break 100 i am lucky
