It's update time and more nonsense has been added to my favorite half life simulator. The Crush depth update adds two new sectors full of new shiny toys and monsters to turn you into paste. There's also fishing. We'll be fishing 98% of the time.
Have you ever wanted to play a random scientist during a resonance cascade. What about a security guard in an [REDACTED] facility gone awry. Well have I got the game for you. It's abiotic factor. What it lacks in a pronounceable name, it makes up for in being really really good. Play as a employee of the secretive and non OSHA approved GATE facility. A massive underground complex full of scientific wonders and horrors beyond our comprehension. Scavenge build and survive any way you can and escape the facility. And remember: SEE IT, REPORT IT.
As a GATE employee you extend the bounds of human knowledge, and seek to explain the unexplainable - including anomalies and paranormal entities: from gravity-distorting artifacts to supernatural creatures with an unbridled instinct for violence. Safety, security, and secrecy are of the utmost importance… usually.
After a catastrophic containment breach, your workplace has become a cosmic battle zone: anomalous entities are on the loose, enemies from other dimensions are invading via portals, and an arcane military sect - known as The Order - is targeting personnel and entities indiscriminately, aiming to seize artifacts and put an end to the chaos.
