I can barely go a day without power. Last year in August a microburst with 100 mph winds, just as dangerous as an ef-1 tornado, made my neighborhood lose power for over a day, it was hard. My neighborhood thankfully doesn’t lose power easily. There’s days in summer when 1 day without power or ac is miserable.

Generators aren't the only solution. Solar power would also be a solution, and a much better one at that. Use solar power for day and generator (or solar battery) at night. Also, most big stores have backup generator already

here in lebanon, our electricity cuts out for multiple hours a day so nobody would pay attention to it or panic, unless it goes out for over 24 hours
happens in Kurdistan too, there would be much less cuts if they'd let us use solar power, but no, the government has to control our electricity and give us bad one too, a solar farm would be very nice.

In India, Power Outages are very common and long like 12 hours or even more. We Indians are adapted to long power cuts. Heck, I am watching this video during a power outage on my laptop due to heavy rain!

I'm in uttrakhand, India here all electricity worker are on a strike for two days and they cut down the electricity of whole state for two days and it's not even been an hour

My power went out on Wednesday twice the first time a flicker so the second time I grabbed and started my BLUETTI 2200 and I watched TV and got the email about the power outage it was out for 4 hours I’m glad it wasn’t out longer cause my solar panels haven’t arrived yet. Good thing I have a good amount of supplies.
