Music sure shaped me as a child. I may not remember exact songs or even locations as clearly as I would now, but even on a realist standpoint, early exposure to something that you enjoy greatly shapes you and your likes, feelings, and longing to re-create the moment that made you happy and carefree. I believe thats what is meant by the soul remembering better than an adult and device.

I get what people are saying with the "technology is contaminating the purity of the experience" speech. Of course it's good to put down the camera and live in the moment; but every so often there's a moment so beautiful, so exquisite you can't help but yearn to share it with others (via said technology). I wasn't there to experience this particular moment and I'm sure this can't compare, but I'm grateful nonetheless that I got to at least be a small part of it virtually.
yes, that is truth and i am thankful for that. but what i'm saying is, i don't think that people can fully enjoy the moment through a camera screen, even though it makes it possible to share. personally i would rather be there than watching the video, but you are right, if it wasn't for these machines, i wouldn't even have the opportunity to know these artists existed.

We are in a society where we are to self conscious to dance. As it shows to much of who we are, and is to unique. The child simply hasn't been exposed. Just dance when you feel like it, and who cares if someone is watching
People are complaining a lot about the people watching through devices but they can also do a lot of good, because of one of them I get the inspiration to keep playing the didgeridoo because of the artist.

what i see is a bunch of people filming the moment for "posterior analysis" and letting the moment pass through them, while a human being, a child, is living the "now". i wonder which of them keeps the best memory. the adults in a piece of machine or the child in the soul ;)
i would have thought that the mic on the didge would have made it louder than the hang...especially as its a hemp didgeridoo! the hang cuts thru nicely

Saw Yuki playing yesterday in Darwin's mall and was transfixed by the sound. Beautiful! Only sad that there wasn't a CD I could buy.
Amazing. What I wouldn't give to have been there I'd be dancing too. Props to the child for feeling what she heard and letting it out.
