Band-Maid is not in the habit of playing songs that sound the same all the way through. This song has a lot of different sections with different textures. Sometimes just drums, sometimes drum and guitar, sometimes just vocals with a little guitar. It gives the song a lot of variety. So you can't expect to hear any instrument playing continuously from start to finish.
This is one of Band-Maids faster songs . Akane is killing it with her beats per minute ! Blooming is in the Netflix Movie "Kate" along with another great song "Choose Me" ! Thanks RC1 Nice Reaction =)
They can take a simple song, and make it so complex and rich and full of sound with little surprises throughout. The bass was there the whole time but she doesn't just sit low and keep a beat. She's all over that neck constantly and when you mentioned it she was silent for that moment. Welcome to the maids.

But the absolute brilliance of all the other Maids is also fantastic to watch. But be prepared...Black Hole will upset your musical sensibilities. Therapy may be required.

Sometimes the productions of MVs is less then perfect for the bass, it depends, and there is also a whole set of online live videos, mainly from the pandemic, and I actually sometimes prefer the production of those over the MVs. If everything goes well I will go to see Lovesbites live in Denmark this summer and even though my musical journey at this point is with Band Maid, I also find Lovebites songwriting fantastic.
