Oh god Heather, this is such rotten luck. But good news that you have a job so quickly. Although your plans may be a bit slower we are all here supporting where we can and look forward to any tutorials/Patterns and inspiration you can give us when you have the time. Beach Bag looks amazing and I shall definitely be doing this one. If it was not Sunday evening I would be making a trip to Asda to buy the tea towels. 😆
Oh Heather, so sorry to hear your news but take heart from my story. When I was 7 months pregnant with our first child my husband was made redundant. We had a massive mortgage and in those days women gave up their jobs at 7months into their pregnancy. It was quite a worry at the time but we cut back as much as we could and just survived on essential foods. I learnt to just look in the cupboard, see what we had and I would cobble a meal out of that. Fortunately I’d got all I needed for the baby . I can honestly say although it was a worry and it took about 6 weeks for my husband to find another job we pulled together and it brought us closer. Good luck to you both and try to take the positive in every day. X
