Hey David, where are you? You are my primary source of cartomancy informations, I am in love with your blog, I printed every informations you have put in and that is my best book ever! Please come back I am from Italy and here we have many local decks, like toscane, piacentine, trevigiane, genovesi, napoletane, siciliane and so on. You are really into the traditional way, we miss you!
Una sorpresa encontrarle por aquí y una pena que no hayan más vídeos explicando su método. Le sigo en su blog y es muy claro explicando. Muchas gracias y una abrazo desde España
YOU are the one who inspired me to finally learn cartomancy! When I came across your site, I started reading and everything clicked. Your method gives a structure that makes sense. The books I bought years ago frustrated me. I just got Regina Russell's book. The other has been a bust. I had found one wonderful man on YT, who happens to be inspired by you too. I would love to take your class, but I am not on FB. Thank you for appearing here.
Deb Thank you! I’m so glad you found me here, and that my work resonates with you. I plan to make more RUclips videos after the holidays. Stay tuned! 💕
I just started to learn your system, your blog is wonderful and full of usable information for a.starter. Thank you! Please update this channel with more video, and case studies. Would be most beneficial for all learner 🙏🏼
you have such a fascinating way of speaking, informative AND intriguing makes me want to know more! love your A of C blog ! post more! the only reason i started to learn was because of how passioniate YOU wrote about it there! god we need more passionate people.....
David, I'm so excited to see you here on RUclips! I've been an avid reader of your blog for some time, and find your way of reading the cards very inspiring (I discovered you after finding both Martello's and Russell's books). Looking forward to what you present with the playing cards and Sibilla in the future.
James Himm Mitchell Thank you! I’m a follower of your work too, and very much enjoy your reading style. I was waiting to get a few videos up before advertising the channel, so I’m both surprised and pleased that you found me!
Hi David I’ve been following your blog for years and my main pick a card reader who is really accurate uses your method of reading playing cards. Before I learned how to read cards on my own, the fortune tellers I would visit and pay for a reading who were most accurate used playing cards for their tools. I have tried learning it and follow your meanings especially when it comes to yes and no questions. I find it very hard because for me sometimes the results are very accurate or very off and to me the odds are like flipping a coin which is not the purpose of divination. When I watch other readers they seem to get it on point all the time which frustrates me. When I purchased my first tarot and lenormand deck for learning I did not have the same problem and would get accurate or close to accurate answers or atleast have cards that related to my topic of questions but it was never extremes like my experience of playing cards . Maybe it’s because I feel the deck of playing cards I purchased was not made for the purpose of divination whereas my tarot and lenormand decks were made by people who teach it for divination practices. Do you sell your own deck or playing cards for the purpose of divination?
Jon, hello. Welcome! I love when my blog followers find me here! I don’t use a special playing card deck. I just use ordinary playing cards that you can find sold almost anywhere. I will use my divination deck exclusively for reading. I don’t generally play cards, but if I did, I would never use my reading deck for games. My advice to you is to read the cards. When they don’t appear to answer the question, approach the reading with an open mind. Do not try to force the cards to fit the question. Often they have something important to share on the matter that may not be the specific answer you are looking for. This is true especially when asking Yes-or-no type questions. I remember when I was in college, I had a final exam I was worried about. I asked the cards if I would pass the exam. The answer I got made little sense to me at first. The cards did not seem to answer my question at all. Rather than try to force the cards to fit my expectations, I approached them with an open mind, and I realized that they were referring to a theme related to a poem we had studied- this was a Spanish Lit course. I realized that of the many poems and stories we had studied, the cards were telling me that this particular poem would be on the exam. I focused on studying this poem, and I was not surprised to see that the essay portion of the exam was on this exact poem. Had I not focused on this particular during my study, I would not have done as well on the essay. Rather than tell me if I would pass or not, the cards told me how I could pass the exam with some valuable inside knowledge. I ended up with an “A” on the exam because I was well prepared thanks to my Bicycle Playing Card Deck!! Trust the cards. :)
Hi David, Thank you so much for sharing your experience. With Tarot and Lenormand I do the same where I do not force the answer when it doesn’t make sense at that time and either refer back to it later or redo the reading on a different day where things feel like they flow. I think my mistake when starting with playing cards were treating my readings like a private reading which is a big no no. Before I purchased my first learner tarot and lenormand deck I had the philosophy that I was open to receiving messages both bad and good. I learned that good cards or messages are nice to see only when they are true but not valuable if it’s not true. In life not all outcomes will be favorable and that’s something I learned to accept before buying my divination cards. Perhaps when I started playing card readings I didn’t have this philosophy in mind and would only pull cards in hopes of getting what I wanted to hear versus what I needed to hear. I’ll keep practicing with this in mind 😊
i read your blog. Good to see the face behind the words. Can you tell us how the meanings of the cards that your Grandmother taught you differ from those you got from books? I know this video is about three years old but I hope you read this and respond.
Hi David love your webpage. I have a question that maybe you will be able to answer.. is it possible for your cards to completely ignore your original question and go rouge and address some thing that will be possibly happening in the future? Basically completely ignore your Original question altogether, and address something in the futue that you did not ask about? Thank you hope you see this and I wish you well
