I honestly really loved how they portrayed Sokrates in this game. Questioning ourselves more so than others. It felt really fun to discuss things with him. I wish we could get more of his questions. Really love this game.
My thing is, why is this form of idealism considered "classical." I have a friend who's heard of sokrates based on ppl saying he sounds like him, but he himself has not actually explored sokrates. The fact my friend was able to delve into, understand, and create this thinking through friendships and hard thought; now to find out that there was a very similar person thousands of years prior to his own birth, has blown his mind, not to mention, I myself being an impact on him with the same lack of knowledge that sokrates was so much similar to him. Point this is trying to make, is that my friend is no where near the classical type. Tho he may have grown up in a very similar fashion. Perhaps that plays a role into having this mindset.

Interesting at the pynx speech. Socrates defends popular democracy, despite the fact that he historically agreed with intellectual democracy. I wonder hoe much his responses differ per option.
Socrates' questions never end, because his goal is always to try to convince Alexios of what he doesn't know. And, as the condition for knowledge to exist is that we never know everything, Socrates remains in this eternal question. I don't consider this wise. I think that wisdom consists of striving to live according to what one believe instead of trying to have all the answers to everything that happens...
@iGoH Summ3rs But I said the same that you said... The questioning is endless, because the ultimate truth is never found! However, this endless reflection is not able to guide human beings to find the truth within themselves. That's why I don't think it's wise to keep questioning something to seek what you already know, that something isn't true. Instead, try to live up to what you believe and realize that it will always apply only to you, your beliefs, and never to others. Because then you will understand that, as Socrates did, any attempt to provoke reflection with the intention of generating doubt only has an effect, when those who do not think the same as you do not know what you do. This explains why any kind of knowledge coming from someone else will always be fail...
17:2318:59 we are all equal in our potential to do good so i say every life is equal to another. Some people have a harder journey in realizing their potential to do good and it is up to the society to foster them on the path while limiting their ability to take away others potential to do good. A Murderer has the same potential as had their victim for example but do you allow the murderer to be free to act? murder by definition is the unsanctioned termination of another human life and only the society as a whole has the authority to determine that sanction. Killing in self-defense is wrong for instance under this logic but does that mean you punish the one who took the life? I say punishment is pointless and wasteful of potential and all acts can be lessons and opportunities to meet our potential for good. We all need help in this and we can all learn from each other.
But in that freedom to act, evil (murder, thievery, etc) will be much more available and plentiful. With the threats of society's general laws, it keeps people in line under pressure. Even Socrates was known to follow the law. The law is there to prevent an implosion of lawlessness.

Interesting at the pynx speech. Socrates defends popular democracy, despite the fact that he historically agreed with intellectual democracy. I wonder hoe much his responses differ per option.
Thank you for uploading this, it makes video games matter even more.
I feel so lucky i've played kasandra instead of alexious !

So great. I loved it.
17:23 18:59 we are all equal in our potential to do good so i say every life is equal to another.
