I look forward to your videos all week. In a world gone mad, it's just nice too see someone without an agenda working on old tools, bringing them back to life and showing true pride and craftsmanship.
When I find the $2 tarp I'm all over it! It looks like I'm playing Twister! We had a few blue spruce trees in our yard growing up - beautiful but the needles were very pointy! I always dreaded having reach in to get the ball or Frisbee out of them!
Love your flea market trips. You picked up some great candidates for restoration. I'd like to see you do the hacksaw or pipe wrench. But I'll enjoy whatever you choose to do!
That was great! I like the screwdriver and the hacksaw for a restoration. I really enjoyed looking at the interesting items at the show and I saw quite a few model kits there I built as a kid. Thanks for sharing this.
Can't wait for the book sales to restart here. Thanks for sharing your tour round the flea market really nice to see. Would love to be there looking at all that different stuff.
Yes I've seen a couple those they are mini bars you kept all your liquor on the bottom and on top was the glass usually the doors had holders for wine and glass
Grandma had one of those glass paperweights that all us kids worked on with rocks and hammers to get at the flower petals. I don't know how they did it but there was never anything there. Thanks for sharing.
That hack saw really caught my eye for a restore that’s gonna be so nice and Wow what a flea market I have to get there one of these days looks like they have some nice lanterns thanks for the shout
Hey Gringo Grande. Usually I would say the HD Smith is my favourite but that hacksaw is amazing. Old hacksaws like that are pretty much the only old tool I collect. I've got a few, not too many, but always on the look out for more. I'd have snapped that one up too.
The hack saw with the pipe wrench a very close second. Spruce is a great choice. We had two rows of Blue Spruce in our front yard that were my favorites growing up.
Restore the big perfect handle screwdriver. I was there on Sunday . I saw that screwdriver. Considered buying it. I said to myself. I've never seen a screw big enough for that to be useful. I guess as a prybar or showpiece it would be great. I'm thrilled that you picked it up.
It's good to see people together again. It's funny you showcased that folder fan because I'm looking for one myself to install in a fire department. The cheap ones at the local stores just won't do. I'd say you were very disciplined not coming home with more stuff. There was a lot of things I'd love to buy. Nice flea market.
Nice tool haul . Vise grips was well worth $18. Funny it says "new with quick release". I used to have the older model without the quick release. Good idea putting the hole in the mask.LOL. That old tree farm would be perfect for a house. You'd have a lot of wildlife, they love those evergreens. 👍🛠
Another great video! I knew you were going to say "sniff test" when checking out the dremel (I guess "rotary tool" for the pendantic). I use that sniff test on any used tool with a motor. I have a craftsman version of the dremel that I got decades ago and it still runs great, and all the accessories are compatible with the dremel ones as well.
Hi John! Glad your were able to get out...love to see that hacksaw with the scoutcrafter touch applied to it... And wow.. those vise grip are a nice find.. I would be broke at a flea market like that.. I saw alot I didnt need but most likely it all would had followed me home 🤠 have a gooden, Vic

I would have loved to be there. That was a great flea market. Here in Kansas most of ours are in buildings and small but last year me and my son found a big one about an hour away. Looking forward to going to it next month. The screwdriver first then the saw. They both would be great to see your majec. Stay safe and healthy my friend. Thanks
I am also vaccinated, but still wear a mask - my understanding is that even though the vaccination protects me from infection, it's still possible for me to get the virus, be unaware that I've got it because I have no symptoms, but still be capable of spreading it to someone else. I'll stop wearing a mask when everyone has been offered a vaccination, and has had reasonable time to accept the offer.
@@ScoutCrafter I understand that. But my philosophy is 'belt and braces' (I think you call the things to hold trousers up suspenders) (and you call trousers pants), so I will still wear a mask at the moment - I am super cautious. My local boot sale is a pleasant 20 minute walk from my house, re-starts this Sunday, but I won't be going there just yet. The pipe wrench for sure!! I need to have you watch for me some Connecticut pattern axes out there!! I saw two in the video. In Oklahoma we just didn’t get them. I’d pay for them obviously. I really would love ro seep t a weekend out there. Maybe one day I can go there for work haha. Thanks for the video!! Keep up the great work!!
Great scores! The Walworth item is not a pipe wrench. It’s a rod wrench. Antique reciprocating machinery such as steam engines, gas engines & air compressors use a highly polished round rod to connect the piston to the crankshaft. The rod had to pass through a set of fibrous packing to seal the pressure in the cylinder. The rod was threaded on both ends usually . You couldn’t use a pipe wrench to tighten/loosen it because it would mar the rod. You could change the jaws of the rod wrench to accommodate different sizes of rods. Love your videos.
That pipe wrench is my favorite. What a great flea market...i enjoy seeing all the cool stuff. Our flea market is full of new china junk and vaping kiosks, it is pitful. Cheers
