SF is the most beautiful city in America by far. Fix the pricing/ homelessness/ & crime & you have an amazing place. Beyond that its a pretty city you should visit with your head on a swivel esp if youre a photographer/ content creator.

Easy living, maintainability and cosiness. The architect knew what he was doing in designing a home for people to live in. A lot of them forget when they design a mega mansion so huge one gets lost in them and the space is wasted and the price is too much! We forget what a home should be. Not a design statement, not an investment property and not a pied a terre but a primary home for people. Thanks Ryan, for showcasing one for us!

Trying to get out of this place, -which now may not be for several years due to being "housepoor" (unable to afford another place somewhere else [looking at Missouri or Kansas primarily], and unable to renovate to sell/ put in the $150K+ necessary. California is amazing but it's been pretty well destroyed by corrupt Democrat Politics.

Wow. I never imagined you can buy something like this in SF for less than $10m. I thought they were selling sheds for $2m a few years ago.
People grossly exaggerate how expensive it is in SF, like they do with a lot of other things. Not that $10M is cheap by any means, but the entrance of big Tech definitely drove up prices in the city over the last decade, and since tech workers are working mostly remote now, the market is re-balancing a bit. Although you still can't find a single family home in the city for under $2 million.

A lot of architects forget this when they design mega mansions, which can end up being impractical and wasteful. It's important to remember that a home should be a place where people feel comfortable and happy, not just a status symbol or an investment property.

The thickness of the kitchen countertop is just a mitered edge. That is not the actual thickness of the slab. It's just an additional (minor) labor cost, not an added material cost. Also, the counter looks like quartz, which is a cheap man made material. Not real stone like marble or quartzite. This place is WAY overpriced.

Tbh one of the few places in SF that you aren't paying millions for the privilege to live in a 1930's construction starter home, so in that way, this place looks like a value! But then you think about what even 2-3mil gets you even somewhere like San Diego or LA, and you facepalm afresh.
