Fantastic thanks. Do you have a (branded) visual of these, so we can hang them in the rowing club for everyone to use? Most are familiar with the stretches, but having a picture and a time to hold means the whole sequence will be covered.

Thanks for the video! I'm a young 6'7" rower with major flexibility issues. Do you think doing this routine every morning could help improve range of motion / being able to sit and extend at the catch / keeping heels down at catch? Any of those?

Great stretching routine thanks for sharing this, really helpful for my sea kayak paddling. If you could disable adverts it would be a whole lot better. They get really annoying and interrupt just at the wrong time. Cheers mike

Do you have Evidence for that? Like that stretching improves performance for example.
I come from a strength training background, where there is some evidence that stretching does not improve mobility or performance.
I mean it is also good if it only makes you feel better!
I have seen studies suggesting both standpoints. My personal experience shows that, exactly as you say, it makes me feel better, it makes me (personally) less prone to sore muscles, I recover faster and my sleep quality improves. I have seen similar effects with my athletes over the past 23 years.
Great video! Aram, would you do the stretching before or after a: high intensity training or before/after a low intensity training?
Ideally after a session, and not too long of a hold if you have weights the next day
