I want to try "Total Eclipse of The Heart" next. My family knows I can sing this song but they are wondering why I did not!!! Kinda hard for me to sing and play at the same time right now.

I was reading some of ur notes. FYI, as a beginner adult don't worry about reading notes. That is actually discouraged as trying to learn notes can set you back. Beginner adults learn by ear. This is what a vast majority of adult piano teachers prefer. Just practice cords, major, minor, inversions, etc. and practice them everyday. Also practice scales. EVERYDAY!! It will all come to ya. What kind of scales are you referring to? I can't read sheet music remember so I don't know how to do that. I would not know what an inversion is. I am such a beginner. But thanks for helping me. :)
You're soo cute! ... and I love that song... I always sing the intro (because I can) before Pankow starts. Anyway, you're very cool ... I d'mm kinda the same, sometimes I get a littled frayed w TEOTWAWKI, so I fall back into music too.

I will be more than happy to get you started on what scales and cords are and the correct way to practice so ur learning proper finger and hand positions and also learn left hand, right hand independence. You do not need to know how to read sheet music what so ever!! You will be taught how to play by ear. Looking forward to helping you.
