I haven't been to Sarasota in almost a decade. I live out West now but the one thing I remember disliking the most is the traffic. I became adjusted to it when I was in college, going to work or wherever. If you cannot adjust with the traffic (during the mornings and afternoons) after a month, it may drive you mad, like most Floridian drivers. But other than that, I got used to it because I was blinded by how proud I was to be from there. I may move back after I graduate in 26. Great review by this channel, Juan.
It’s always funny to hear when Floridians talk about the HOT weather. We’re gonna move to Sarasota at the end of this year and right now we live in Dubai. Temperatures here are around 104-122 (summer even higher) and the last two years when we came to Florida it felt like a "cold" change from what we know as hot weather haha. We have experienced Florida only between July and August and we loved it. I’m so excited to seeing how beautiful the weather is like all year around. Thank you for your video.
Sarasota is great and definitely my favorite city in Florida. I lived there 20 years ago as a young guy in my twenties and didn't realize just how great of a place it was. I recently moved back to the Tampa Bay area after 15 years in Texas and Sarasota has definitely changed. It's still a great City and absolutely beautiful. But too many people have moved in. Siesta key is overcrowded, traffic on 75 is a mess, and infrastructure is just not designed for the amount of people that live there now. It has gotten expensive and unattainable for most.
you make some of the best content in this type of category. I dont see you looking up places like fortmyers or cape coral. Probably a little far but definitely think you could capture more audience and out do like almost everyone else whos reviewing other areas you arent. Great content and quality.
I am thinking about moving from the UK to Clearwater Florida when I leave college! I already doing some research to learn all about living in the Clearwater Florida life style I already savings my money up to live in the Clearwater Florida area to live there, to work there and to have a lot of fun there it be my dream place to move too! ❤️🐬🐢😄👍⭐🙏💚😃
Mid-90's with humidity and close to the beach sure beats California with 30+ days over 100 degrees in the summer and no beach!! 3 more years here and we're selling here and moving to Florida. We fell in love with the St Pete's Beach area but are willing to look as far South as Sarasota/Bradenton. We'd love a view but no matter what, we have to be within 5 minutes of a great beach and a marina for the boat.
My family moved here in 1971. Except for my college years, I've lived here ever since. This is a great small city; I would not want to live anywhere else.
Unfortunately your wont be able to park at any of the beaches, especially during the winter tourist season the lots fill up by 9am and stay that way all day.
Don’t move to Sarasota… We are full!!! Traffic sucks, it takes 30 minutes to get anywhere besides Publix, and it’s just a bunch of tourists and old people everywhere. Visit, don’t stay!
There’s really no definite best place in Florida in my opinion. It’s all relative and depends on your lifestyle and what you’re looking for. I personally think Palm beach county has some of the best places to live. Jupiter is the best place to live I think. West coast has the sand, but Jupiter inlet actually has been ranked number one for the best water. Pinellas and manatee has beautiful beaches as well. It’s all opinion

Glad you’re enjoying it!

You're welcome. Perspective is everything, right? 104 is boss mode in the heat index. 😎
Me and my wife spent 1 week on the Tampa/st petersburg area and we loved it, we are planning to move next year.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the kind words. Fort Meyers and Cape Coral are two and a half hours south of me. I'm not the expert there.
Snowbird in Sarasota. I love it.

We are thinking of moving soon, but I am wondering if you think commuting from Sarasota to Tampa is doable?
I wouldn't entertain it. It would be an hour and twenty minutes of white knuckle driving from Downtown to Downtown during rush hour.
It's funny you moved from Detroit lol. Ill be moving there in about a month!
I hope you have a great experience 😎
love that place but a family needs to be well off to live comfortably.
It is definitely not an inexpensive place to live.
Cool white sands but the blacktop parking lot, not so much

There is always parking if you know where to look. It's not always wide open, but you can park at the beach in and out of season.
Maui to swfl?
You wouldn't be our first! 😎

Low crime, clean and not overpopulated yet.

I totally agree! It's all about your your ideal lifestyle.
As soon as i saw clips of people wearing masks I was like… 🚮 I’ll look elsewhere.
