Amazing turn-out given the weather, Tim. Some splendid footage capturing the atmosphere of the show, and it's always a great watch seeing the old aircraft landing and taking off on grass. Really enjoyable 👌👏👏

It would be great if you could fly over to Ashcroft and spend a day helping me with the build on my Nynja when I start. The new clubhouse has just been built - You are welcome to bring a tent and we can have a barbecue and a few beers!

This reminds me of being a lad on holiday with my parents at some British resort like Weymouth or Hunstanton, we were going to the beach no matter what the weather and we were going to enjoy it, freezing cold, rain or not (and we did). I love these ones Tim a slice of nostalgia. Really enjoyed that thank you.

Just love what you are doing here - you seem to be able to capture what is great about private flying and in an aircraft perfectly suited for it. It was a shame that the weather forcast was so bad and up here the weather was not flyable for the Kub. I would have loved to have joind you all down there.
I reckon I could have been at the Westonzoyland (scrumpy and cheese) one had we not had to lockdown for half a year (was 184 days between my 3rd and 4th hours last year). However have a 2 hour lesson tomorrow. Precautionary landings. If it goes well may get to solo at the end!

Routine: Get up, have breakfast, peg the laundry on the washing line, watch Jodel Flyer. Despite the weather that was a nice turn-out at the fly-in. The pilots needn't have been shy about their landings being filmed. I liked the side-slip of the red Luscombe and it was nice to see some old types like the DH biplane and what I think was an old red Cessna. Hopefully the sunny weather we're going to have the next few days, will give everyone who can, a great time flying.

That is a very good point to make but cameras would catch them as they happen. I can assure you they are not all greasers!

Thank you David. It was a very good event and the trip back was ‘interesting’! We will have to see what the weather throws at us for August.

Despite the weather it was a very good Fly In and the atmosphere was excellent.
