Do you remember as a kid at meal time putting your favorite food to one side of the plate to be savoured at the end of the meal......mmmmm. Thank you so much Tim, so grateful to you for taking us with you and your time filming the aeroplanes. Hornet Moth,Bolkow Junior and the new ones names yet to be discovered. Thank you
I am glad you enjoyed the content. Not as many aircraft as in previous years but the departures next week are quite interesting as we all left quite quickly.
Great to see you back in production, Tim, with a reminder of the delights of Monewden. I landed there a few years ago when it was very quiet (found it quite hard to locate, which produced an amusing Sky Demon trace) but must put the Suffolk Strut on my list - as long they accept a/c based in Herts!
I find it a wonderful thing watching all those amazing aircraft landing on grass in the beautiful English countryside. A lovely video again, Tim. Well done for finding a flying day in July!! 😆👍👏👏👏
Great video Tim and you know I always love these fly in ones. Never landed on 22 before but that dip looks like it caught everyone out, plenty of rudder work going on as well from all those 'draggers'. Brilliant.
Tim, Good to see you at Monewden and covering our flyin again this year with your videos. We were very please with the turnout considering the weather forecast! Keep up the god work... (Martyn)
What a lovely collection of interesting aircraft . I noted some arrivals resulted in 3 landings , you did well Tim in just the one bounce 😀. My best wishes .
Great little airstrip. The now closed runway at Biggin hill 029 had a dip like that, in the perfect place to catch you out if you’re not on your game. Thanks for sharing Tim.
Greato see ya getting some Summer flying in.😊 Looked like a great Fly in as well. Nice to see Jodels are about in numbers still to. Some here going on Microlight side of things only wzy they going to survive here really. 😅
It was good that a nice variety of aircraft managed to attend the fly-in before the impending weather reached you. We in Wales were probably having that rain all morning before it got over there.
Well done Tim so it's not just me doing the bounce then?? Sorry about the sound track but a very nice bit of guitar towards the end!! Lovely stuff as usual mate ...
Lovely picture at the end. I've always wondered what a "Strut" is? I've heard of them in America but not really seen much of them in the UK. Is it an LAA thing?
@@GolfFoxtrot22No, anybody can fly into these events. The Struts are often groups that meet up socially and have a program of other events as well as organising Fly Ins etc.

The weather has been a big issue this year, I am getting the DT's
And another wet one today again! ☔️🌧
@@JodelFlyer I think the weather is dyslexic and miss read August as Autumn.
🤣

Thank John. Monewden is a great grass strip with a warm welcome.
Great to see these videos appearing more regularly again 😊👍🏼
I am trying to keep the old routine going Geoff but it is a bit difficult with so much happening and so little flying due to the weather.

Thanks for arranging the Fly In and the invitation. Always pleased to attend your Fly In's

The only consultation was that both of my landings were pretty good ones! 😂

The weather has not been good and we have not made it to as many Fly Ins as we had hoped.

Very true, the weather was coming from your way!
Some lovely shots of a wide variety of aircraft there, Tim. Thanks for uploading. 🙂
Thank you. Glad you liked it.

Yes Giles, the LAA have a number of area membership groups which are called struts.
@@JodelFlyer so you would have to be a LAA member to go to one?

Wow, this looks like a recipe for a fatal.
Which bit?
